Starting this morning, Philadelphia Police are investigating a policeinvolved shooting. Officers were called to a shooting last night at 17th and cayuga streets in tioganicetown. They found a shooting victim in a minivan riddled with bullets. The gunman got away and then another man jumps out of the back of the minivan. After exiting the minivan the male literally stepped over the initial shooting victim and then began to walk quickly north on 17th street. Police say he pointed a gun at officers and an officer opened fire but investigators arent sure if the man that they shot the second man was actually hit by police or had actually been shot in that minivan since it took earlier gunfire. The original shooting victim and this suspect are both in stable condition this morning. A teacher is on leave from william tenet high school in bucks county this morning. This is new video just into action news from the 900 block of cambridge street in brewerytown. Thats where someone slashed a 33yearold man in the torso. Hes in critical condition. No arrests have been made. Happening right now, Italys Supreme Court is deciding whether or not its going to uphold the murder conviction of american amanda knox. Knox was convicted in the 2007 killing of her british roommate meredith kercher. The fate of knocks former boyfriend will also be decided by this court. Knox had been ac equipmented by the crime returned back to the u. S. But another Italian Court retried and sentenced her in absent cha in 2011.
