As we take a look at satellite more clouds have spilled in overnight. Overhead on the terrace weve got a lot of blue skies. Most of that cloud cover high and thin and we should have a fair amount of sunshine today mixing with a few more clouds than yesterday. Starting out a bit cool but better than yesterday. 56 degrees, thats about seven or 8 degrees milder than we were this time yesterday morning. 50 degrees in allentown, 50 in wilmington and for now, the winds are not that bad. Overall its going to be a nice day today. By 11 oclock, 69 degrees. By 1 oclock, 72. Winding up partly sunny for most of the day. Breezy and mild later with a 74degree reading at 3 oclock and a high of 75 clocking in at about 4 00 or 4 30 this afternoon. When i step inside its a little bit cooler tomorrow and then it looks like some rain possible toward the end of the week. All of those details coming up in that accuweather 7day forecast. Head for the king drive or the schuylkill instead at least until 6 30. Near the honey brook area watch out for a new crash along route 10 compass road at lilly road north of honey brook nurseries. Theyve got a lane blocked and police are on the scene there. We have downed wires in Hamilton Township Atlantic County southbound side of route 50 just south of the a. C. Expressway. Traffic can only get by on the shoulder. Head for elwood road or colon avenue as alternates to route 50. Not so far off in Egg Harbor Township we were getting word of a crash involving an overturned vehicle on the parkway northbound near the black horse pike 322 and 40 but it sounds like thats mostly off to the side not going to be a huge deal for your morning commute. Still though watch out for the activity on the shoulder as you pass the a. C. Expressway there on the parkway. And were beginning this hour with breaking news. Overnight people watched in horror as a woman made her way down a Port Richmond street with her throat slashed leaving a blood trail behind her. Action News Reporter Annie Mccormick is live outside of Temple University hospital. Thats where that woman is being treated. Good morning, annie. Reporter good morning, tam. People say that when they discovered the woman she was alive. She was taken here to Temple University hospital. Shes currently in surgery. Were told though shes in Critical Condition. Well, this is video from the scene from around 3 this morning. Bystanders actually saw the woman walking in the 2,000 block of seller street and ran to help. She had a piece of denim tied around her neck. Now, there was a lot of blood. There was a 75foot blood trail behind her. When Police Arrived the victim collapsed on the ground. She has what appears to be a 12inch slash in her throat that goes from one side of her neck to the other so doctors are working on her right now at temple hospital. We dont have a motive for this stabbing. We dont have a description of a perpetrator or perpetrators. Reporter they also dont know who this woman right now. She is a jane do. Jane doe. Now east detectives are interviewing people at this hour. Theyre also checking surveillance cameras in the area, again working to find out her identity. New on action news, police are investigating a stabbing in Norristown Montgomery county. They say the attack happened around midnight near the 600 block of change street. Police surrounded this car in a nearby alley way. One person was taken to the hospital. Theres no word on their condition. More new video just into action news showing a house fire in south jersey that forced out a family overnight. The action cam was on the unit block of quasar court in Washington Township as firefighters checked out damage to the upper floor. The flames broke out around 2 30 a. M. The homeowners got out safely. Its unclear though what started the fire. The man accused of shooting a Philadelphia Police officer and his accomplice are awaiting arraignment today. 23yearold Scott Griffin faces attempted murder and robbery charges. Police say griffin along with 20yearold samir coyett robbed a man and then carjacked a woman at gun point on sunday night and they say griffin opened fire on officer James Mccullough during a struggle hitting him once in the leg. Mccullough gave a thumbs up as he was released from penn Presbyterian Hospital last night. It is 6 06. And happening today bill cosbys wife camille will answer more questions under oath in a defamation lawsuit. Camille cosbys deposition is scheduled to go on today in boston. She gave the first part of that deposition back in february. The lawsuit filed by seven women says that her comedian husband defamed them by branding them as pliers after they went public with Sexual Assault allegations against him. Bill cosby also faces criminal charges in montgomery county. Despite camille cosbys spousal privilege a judge found because of her role managing her husbands career she cock deposed. A new project got end way yesterday to rehab the moyer road bridge in hilltown township bucks county. Its now closed through july so to get around that closure i would stay up on maybe Blooming Glen road or down on callowhill road as in some alternates. In Mercer County it was a rough morning yesterday. Thong we just have that construction thats going on all week along route one between the trentonmorrisville bridge and perry street. One lane out of commission in each direction. Bordentown work going on most of the day today until 3 30 along 130 both ways at burlington road. Left lane blocked in both directions there. The city of houston is under water and bracing for even more rain in the coming days. At least five people have died because of the weather and in one county alone more than 1200 high water rescues had to be performed. This rainfall is considered to be the most significant to hit the houston region in more than a decade. The governor of texas has declared a state of emergency in nine counties. Police in Washington State are on a manhunt for two brothers suspected of killing a husband and wife. Patrick shun and monique disappeared over a week ago. Police found their two cars dumped in the woods 15 miles from their home. Police say they have video that ties the suspects, john and tony reed to the disposing of the victims vehicles. Detectives believe the married couple was murdered but their bodies have not been found. Michigan Governor Rick Snyder says the water in flint is improving and he plans to drink it to prove it. The embattled governor announced yesterday that he would comply with City Residents demands and drink from the tap for 30 days straight. Snyder stopped at a home in flint yesterday to grab a glass.
