Allentown 46 and more typical is that temperature you see in trenton and philadelphia upper 40s in the i95 corridor alittle cooler in some spots down to the south. As we roll through the day not going to be quite as warm as yesterday but still a pretty nice afternoon ahead. By 11 oclock, still 62. But by 1 oclock, 66. By 3 oclock, 69 and well get a high today of 70 probably around 4 oclock. Lots of sun today and less wind than yesterday. Thats almost the best part of the story. Pollen forecast still pretty high. Not sure about that high reading theyre reporting on friday. Were going to get some showers and i think in the afternoon anyway well see that pollen count knocked down a little bit. When i step inside well take a look at those showers and get you ready for the weekend and let you know where temperatures are going the next couple of days, matt pelman. For now, what about roads. Im always ready to get ready for the weekend. This morning were getting ready for sun glare and one other glare traffic problem. Were expecting this to be out there possibly for a couple of days so well be keeping you posted but it will be a mess this morning. Another leftover from a few days ago is that sewer main break in mount laurel. Its still blocking hartford road until at least 4 oclock this afternoon youre without that. So briggs road or larchmont boulevard are some possible alternates. And i mentioned the midday closure thats coming to Lower Gwynedd along pen ambler road. Head for morris road the next few days. Now nearby in whitpain township theres a new crash along township line road at Union Meeting road. Police are responding there. Frontrunners donald trump and Hillary Clinton claimed big victories in the New York Primary. Trump captured more than 60 percent of the republican vote and that gets him at least 89 of the 95 delegates at stake. Clinton won nearly 58 percent of the democratic vote. Pennsylvania is a crucial state. 71 delegates are on the line in the commonwealth. 54 are unbound. Pennsylvania will have one of the largest unbound uncommitted delegations at this convention. Reporter john kasich was in pittsburgh and will bring his campaign to both delaware and chester counties on thursday. And donald trump who also took a big new york win so far has no stops planned in pennsylvania leaving winnable delegates on the table. He plans to be in delaware on friday there weve won another state. As you know, we have wont millions of more votes than senator cruz, millions and millions of more votes than governor kasich. Reporter and as we see with most campaigns theyre usually pretty fluid so if there are not planned stops in certain areas of pennsylvania or philadelphia, at this point they could be added or they could be taken away. As we take a look at storm tracker6 live double scan we are looking at dry conditions obviously this morning and even though were starting out a little bit cool as we take a look outside, you can see that its going to be plenty bright out there with lots of sunshine and the winds really not much of a factor today. It was very breezy yesterday especially in the afternoon but not so today. 49 degrees currently in philadelphia. Were down to 43 in wilmington. 48 in trenton. Down to 39 degrees in both reading and millville and so some of these numbers a little bit on the low side but with light winds and that sun coming up and a quick turn around in store with these numbers, its really pretty easy to take this morning. Get a light jacket. You should be okay. Bring the shades if youre behind the wheel or just Walking Around as we have lots of sunshine getting ready to build in across the region. Yesterday we got well into the 70s across much of the region. Up in the Lehigh Valley today, only 69. But less wind and lots of sun. At the shore a little coolinger. Looks like well stop at about 60 or so in most shore communities today. Mostly sunny, less wind, though, so thats good. And in philadelphia, well see a high late this afternoon of about 70. Probably around 4 oclock or so well get that number. Mostly sunny, a bit cooler, but winds out of the north at only six to 12 Miles Per Hour. Not bad. If youre headed to the phillies tonight, its another one of those nights where you want to bring some layers to add as the game goes on because we are looking at a first pitch temperature of 66. A little on the cool side. And probably getting down to about 57 by the ninth inning. Not much wind at the ballpark tonight. Certainly not as much as last night. Overnight tonight mainly clear and cool, a couple of patchy clouds around. 47 is the low in philadelphia. And going all the way down to 42 effort in some outlying suburbs. Tomorrow things start to change. We get a warm front coming past us to the north. Area of High Pressure to the south changing that wind direction from the south. And thats going to bump our High Temperature up to 74. But we will start out with sun and then give way to clouds during the day with this frontal boundary combination heading in our way and then late tomorrow night in through friday there will be the chance of some showers. Your exclusive accuweather 7day, 70 is todays high, sunny and cooler than it was yesterday but still a very nice day ahead. Tomorrow sun giving way to increasing clouds during the day. A high of 74. And later at night or overnight a couple of scattered spotty sprinkles our showers possible. More clouds on friday with a few sunny breaks, mild, 77. At times well see he some showers. Some spotty showers possible and maybe a rumble of thunder. Yeah, and all afternoon yesterday, too. Thats when it started matt and tam. Theyre working on the suspension ropes which kind of sounds like an important thing to do at the delaware Memorial Bridge. So, its necessary work but it means that just one lane is getting by heading from Carneys Point into New Castle County. From chopper6 hd you can see the delays coming off of 295 southbound off of the new jersey turnpike, out of salem county headed into New Castle County because at the bottom of the screen you can see all but one lane, that far right lane is blocked because of this emergency construction. Theyre not giving us an end time on this yet. Theyre saying this could last for several days even. So, you really want to avoid this mess at the delaware Memorial Bridge not only this morning but perhaps for the next few days and i think the best way to do that is to head to the Commodore Barry bridge where right now traffic is fine. Yesterday afternoon we saw big delays there. I was sending people the whole way up to the walt whitman bridge but the bottom line is delaware memorial is definitely not where you want to be. Whitpain township a crash this morning along township line road by Union Meeting. Midday work in Lower Gwynedd closes pen ambler road. What we missed, and i need to show you this morning, is the oscar meyer weaner mobile went through on the eastbound schuylkill and frankly im pretty disappointed that i missed the opportunity to tell you how the afternoon commute was really not a weiner i mean a winner. I could go on. Nice matt. Septa officials put out a warning that they never would have thought of about five or six years ago. Please refrain from attempting to take selfies on the train tracks.
