Well probably get stickier thursday and then into part of friday but kind of long range it really looks nice. Storm tracker6 live double scan shows you were almost completely dry. If we go in tighter were still tracking a couple stubborn showers down by smyrna delaware pushing to the east of smyrna also in the neighborhood of middletown and it looks like some of that might try and cross the delaware bay into cumberland and salem county. Its lighter than it was earlier but boy, when it gets on top of you it just doesnt move very fast. Youre stuck with it for awhile. Look for these to downs around south and Western Areas up until about 9, 10 oclock this morning. As we take a look outside we have sky6 and a sweep of clouds has moved in over the ben franklin bridge. Well get a little slither of sunshine off the horizon and then wait for some of those clouds to break up a bit. 70 degrees in philadelphia currently, 71 in wilmington, 69 in allentown where we did not have as much cloud cover around. More clouds the farther south you go this morning. Were at 71 degrees in cape may. Satellite shows that you clouds to the south more clearing to the north pattern that weve got right now, that will probably continue through most of the day but overall were going call it partly sunny and i do think some of these clouds you see a little bit thicker right now probably break up a little bit later on. Well keep our eyes on these showers but most look like theyre falling apart around washington, d. C. And probably not an issue for us. As we look at the lehigh valley, up north youll get more sun so well call it sun, some clouds. Not humid up in the north. A few clouds and warm, 83 for the first pitch, 73 in the ninth inning. There is the slight chance of a thundershower popping up mainly in the southern and Western Areas kind of around where weve got those showers this morning. So, hopefully the ballpark stays dry. Theres that thundershower south and west. Not all the models even showing it. I wouldnt get too excited about this. Maybe something popping. Otherwise a few clouds overnight and 68. As we head into thursday and friday big ridge of High Pressure out to the west but a trough in the east. An area of low pressure forming in the base of that trough and this is what its going to do. On thursday afternoon well be on the lookout for spotty showers and thunderstorms that could produce isolated heavy downpours. More of that right up to 11 oclock and more of that overnight into early friday morning. And of course well be right here on friday morning to show you anything that is still popping. Your exclusive accuweather 7day, 86, partly sunny and warm today. 78 not as warm tomorrow but weve got more humidity building and that late rain arriving and spilling into friday morning. Fridays probably morally humid but we should dry out in the afternoon and well get a high of 87. And then heres that nice pattern jeanette was talking about. Just beautiful.
