So the president there, with the humblebrag. He didnt voice his displeasure with the attorney general at the rally, but have no doubt its still there. The president unleashed an unprecedented attack on sessions, gone of his earliest supporters, but he still wont say if sessions days are numbered. Reporter in the rose garden, he refused to say whether he would fire his attorney general. Im very disappointed with the attorney general, but well see what happens. Time will tell. Time will tell. And in may, following the appointment of robert mueller, the president exploded at sessions again. The attorney general offered his resignation, but it was not accepted. Now the president s anger is boiling over again. Hes called session beleaguered. Tweeting sessions has taken a very weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes. Its an odd attack for the president , shortly after the inauguration, he told david he hoped for an end to the clinton investigation.
