The president of North Carolina Wesleyan College issued a statement in regards to the crash, calling it a terrible and unthinkable tragedy. He went on to say, quote, we have activated our crisis plan and our crisis team is present on campus. Are focused on the community and those affected. The crash happened here along the 3400 block of north wesleyan boulevard around 8 30 last night. Rocky mount Police Say Two cars collided just outside of the campus. Four people were pronounced dead in one of the vehicles at the scene. The driver asked of the second vehicle was taken to nash General Hospital and is recovering with nonlife threatening injuries. Social media post suggests that the four people in the first vehicle mentioned were students at the school. Police are still investigating the cause of this crash. Turner was treated and released. Mcmillan was originally taken into custody on a peeping tom charge. He is in jail on a half 1 million bond. Two people are recovering from gunshot wounds and the third is recovering following a shooting inside a busy Fayetteville Mcdonalds restaurant. It happened yesterday at the raeford road restaurant. Heres what police are saying happened. A buyer arrived to purchase cell phones from three sellers. The seller attempted to rob the buyer at gunpoint, thats when the shooting started.
