Now, once it it is over the water it will likely reintensify and then the steering gets weak next week some models suggest it could get close to the Midatlantic States before it swings out to the sea. Again, here at a place called the falls looking more like the rapids against. Goldsboro, cross street here we are told several feet over the last several hours. Banks. That is good news. These waterways, though, we will continue to monitor it throughout the night. Amazing how dangerous the water can get. Downed trees caused Power Outages for thousands. Last check Emergency Management reports there are 14,000 cust meres without power. Most of those out annuals are in wake, newhanover and power crews are working to get that power restored to all of the customers that are out right now. They will monitor a nearby creek and encourage people to level decks during open mall hours and until the system passes. Now, over here, people were not letting them keep them from the luke bryan concert tonight. Several said people said they bought tickets in wokeses and were determined to bout the tickets weeks ago and decided to go, even after hearing about the storm they were out. Now, the power was out two hours before it was restored just before 9 00 p. M. Several dozen people and hundreds of them dealing with the Power Outages throughout the county. Of c working diligently with duke energy to get it back on and restored. Really since we have been out here, though, people are talking the precautions, driving relatively slowly and carefully. The wind picked up in the past hour that we have been out here. The rain, again, just very, very steady. No major issues to report right now. All right, that is good news. Thank you. Final stop you will see the strong rainbands that are protating around the center circulation making the way through the outer banks so, adam owens, the worst of the rainfall is over but they are seeing strong winds that will likely have the strong winds rema the Flash Flood Watch continues until tomorrow morning. But some of the back edge of this may be dropped around midnight for the National Weather service.
