A cruiser was on patrol, was fired on, in what Officials Say was an unprovoked attack. Officers inside returned fire. People on the sidewalk dove for safety. A motorist frantically trying to avoid the gunfire threw her car into reverse and collided with the car behind her. Amazingly, no one was injured. Reporter marion and her husband were at home when the fire broke out around 4 00 this evening. The windy, dry conditions caused it to sweep through five acres. We just saw all this smoke. Then we heard we came to this door. Im just concerned about my neighbors. Reporter webbs neighbor, timothy moore, got them out of the house in ti i knew they were a retired couple. So just turned the siren on, in case i was thinking they didnt hear me hitting on the doors. Reporter firefighters battled the blaze and put out hot spots. It happened after a man started randomly shooting at a Police Station in palmer park. A viewing will be held for colson there 9 00 to 11 00 in the morning at the First Baptist church in upper marlboro. His funeral will start at 11 00. Expect heavy traffic in the area in the morning. Colson will be buried on monday in pennsylvania. Tonight a mother is demanding justice for her son after he was gunned down walking to a bus stop. Gabriel had breakfast wi witnesses heard six shots.
