Timothy williams is the man seen on the ground in this video of the shooting posted on portion where shots are fired because of the graphic nature, Court Records shows williams, with a criminal history dating back to at least 19 9, he was sentenced to at least eight years in prison after crashing a car into a police cruiser, clocked by radar at 143 miles an hour. In 1994 he pled guilty to Armed Robbery and weapons charges in prince georges county, and sentenced to ten years in prison. What he was doing in the street last night and the exact circumstances that happened remain unclear. I cant say i know everything, but i know exactly what happened and i caution people not to jump to conclusions until they have heard after the evidence and gathered all the evidence. Reporter police say all the evidence they heard, and the crime suppression team, they were called to the area last night. This man says he is a relative of timothy i want to see justice, i want them to thoroughly investigate what happened. Why he was shot. We were told the officer wouldnt be at risk if the name was released. Police say they willni release e man after they speak with a federal judge. The investigators say the suspect shot his brothers and refused Police Orders to drop a knife he was holding. Last year Fairfax County changed Police Policy and said it would release the names of officers involved in deadly shootings in no moreh there was no threat to that officer. Reporter and her abuser did in fact serve time on more than one occasion for the beatings. Every time one black eye or busted lip, bloody nose went away, and clear up, there was another one. Reporter some days she fought back. Eventually making matters worse. He said if i ever take his kids from him he will find me and kill me. Reporter she took him seriously. And made a decision she still wrestles with to this day. I said im walking out there. Alive. And then im going to come back reporter tameka lived on peoples couches until she could regain stability and safety and when she does she regained her relationship with her kids but it has not been easy, the children spend time with both their parents. Tameka keeps her communication with her ex limited. You at some point have to say youre tired and i got tired. Reporter almost 40 now, tameka says she is a different person. And i love myself more than i ever did before. Reporter so different, in fact, she now helps d. C. Police and the Domestic Violence unit by sharing her story.
