Much as you move to the south and east. Richmond starting to see rain moving in. Temperatures there are falling. That may start off as rain. The temperatures tonight are going to have a big issue on how this storm impacts us. We just used this digital thermometer and checked the pavement temperatures in northwest. They were at 63 degrees. Thats the power of that strong march sun. All around the region weve got pavement temperatures around 60 degrees. Hovering in the mid 40s in washington. We have the temperatures in the mid 40s across most of virginia. Now, here is the timeline for tonight. Snow beginning by about 8 00 p. M. Coming in from the south. It will likely be mixing with some sleet and rain along the i95 corridor an and east. Going to be a lot of rain there. The highest accumulations of snow are looking west of the i95 corridor. This is a classic noreaster situation with the rain snow line right on i95 or maybe just a bit to the west. Were just getting word that some schools in our area have already cancelled classes for storm. That includes the university of maryland at college park. Right now were waiting on a

Georgetown day sent a letter home to parents calling these allegations deeply disturbing. The school placed him on leave and banned him from school grounds. A courtroom shocker this evening. This happened this morning. Fairfax citys former mayor pleaded guilty. Prosecutors say he used a dating website to meet men for sex in exchange for crystal meth. On august 4th he handed an undercover detective the drugs outside of a tysons hotel. Silverthorn has been in court since. But the judges decision to send him back to jail to await sentencing shocked his family and friends. Hes now facing up to 40 years behind bars. We have

is facing a federal charge of entering a restricted government building or grounds while carrying a dangerous weapon. He faces ten years in prison if convicted on that charge. He did face a judge today, said little other than he was unemployed and he needed the government to provide a public defender. The secret service says tran jumped the fence just before midnight on friday and made it all the way to the south lawn while carrying a jacket and a backpack. They say the backpack had two cans of mace inside and that tran claimed to have an appointment to see the president. He is from northern california. His defense lawyers and prosecutors today asked the judge to release tran backto california until his next hearing. The strong words from one former u. S. Secret
