A man tries to abduct a child by reaching into the boys bedroom window hoping tona arrested. This happened early this morning on l street in fairmont heights. Reporter were just off of sheriff road here and if you see behind me this is the sign Prince Georges County police asking folks in the community to give them a call if they see any suspicious activity after what happened to the young child. The father tells us that the 7yearold was in the bed with his mother when this happened when that arm came through the window and tried to pull him out of the window. His screaming alerted his mother. At first she was thinking maybe this is someone we know until she saw that person run off the porch and around the porch. Its real sad until it hits home. You see it on tv all of the time, but you dont feel it until it hit home. I would like to see whoever is runnin Prince Georges County police feel the same way thp there is a very vague description of this person at this point so were not going to share that until Prince Georges County police have more information on that. He was in close proximity to a meeting of senior dhs official, a meeting he was aware of. The federal Prosecutor Says he was released after his arrest pending further court proceedings. Earlier today, take a look at this. This is new video and this is live from chopper 4 right on top of the West Friendship in maryland andis Howard County where we had a Tornado Warning earlier and just take a look at the trees right there. The sheer number of oh, wow. Can we go off to the left there, chopper. I want to continue to see that there. Notice every tree there is in the same direction. Same direction moving up to the left going from right to left. If we can go back down to those trees, but look at that. Any time you see a tree shear half way up, that could be the potential for tornado or it could be something stronger as far as the winds were concerned. We could see 70, 80 mile per hour winds as it made its way on through that region. So again, very, very intense winds and this is right around the i70 in through portions of Howard County as that storm system made its way on through. It could have been a downdraft and it helped to produce those extremely strong winds, but the National Weather service will be going out there, im sure, to here. Another very strong storm with Jefferson County and i want to move into this guy here because this is one that has had a let of lightning with it and it had rotation around with it and heres leesburg and middleburgh which got hit so hard the other day and the strongest moved just to the north and this moved right along 50 in toward Fairfax County. Reston, youre seeing heavy parts in that area. Chantilly, more heavy rain around the culpeper area and this was a warned storm earlier. It now has weakened a little bit and still seeing heavy rain and a lot of lightning and you can see the boundary sagging down toward the south and were not done yet even around the d. C. Area. We have a couple of hours to go and were fine. Severe thunderstorm watch. A mixture of clouds and sun and rain cools after a high of 90 earlier and everybody has seen some rain and thats w we have a slight risk of Severe Weather in most of the region and it has been in enhanced risk of Severe Weather. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles back in april recalled three different models, totaling more than 1 million vehicles worldwide and this came after hundreds of complaints from drivers that their vehicles rolled away and many times causing serious injuries. By april 12th, shows the car manufacturer knew of 700 complaints potentially related to this issue including 212 crashes, 308 claims of Property Damage and 41 injuries. April 19th, fiat Chrysler Automobiles issued a recall of 1. 1 million vehicles worldwide. The problem according to the recall notice, drivers may inadvertently fail to achieve the parked position before exiting the vehicle. Most people dont know they have a problem until they are rolling away from them. The real issue is in the design of the gearshifter. Its completely different from what most drivers are used to.
