Man in Stafford County is accused of killing his own mother. Christopher ellis is charged with firstdegree murder deputies were called out to his house at about 5 00 this morning. They say ellis was screaming and assaulted a deputy in the backyard. They found his mother, Elizabeth Ellis dead. Right now, ellis is in jail. Right now, Police Investigating a deadly crash on the inner loop of the beltway. One person died earlier this morning. Another person has lifethreatening injuries. Delays stretched as long as 7 miles at one time. Right now, were working to learn more about a crash in silver spring. Somebody hit a pedestrian on New Hampshire avenue this morning near the intersection with oakview drive. The last we heard was that traffic was moving by in both directions, but the road wasnt totally open. We dont know how seriously the pedestrian was hurt.
