Over the past several months, many people have requested the board change the name of jeb stewart high school. Stewart was a general in the confederate army. The confederateaffiliated name came under fire after the Charleston Church shooting last year. Right now Harper County sheriffs deputies are saying goodbye to one of their own who was killed in the line of duty. Patrick daly was killed in a shooting last he was shot and killed last week as he approached a man inside a panera restaurant. General lawton was also killed. His funeral is set for the weekend. Survivors of the terror attacks in paris are saying this concert was a difference maker. The band eagles of death metal performed last night. Their performance ended when many were shot and killed in the concert hall where the band was playing. One of the survivors of the attacks said he was glad to see a new performance.
