Atlanta braves Hector Oliveira was arrested. Police were called about a dispute between a man and a woman. The victim had bruises and was taken to the hospital. Charges are now pending. Police say he and the victim do know each other. The braves, though, are in the middle of a fourgame series against the nationals. They play tonight at 7 00. The workers are on strike demanding better treatment on the job. Kristin wright is live in falls church. She was there when it began this morning. Kristin, whats happening now . Reporter its been about five hours now, and these workers promise theyre going to stay, really, for as long as it takes. The workers on strike, they work on land line services, internet and tv, and that is what could potentially be impacted. That, but they simply have just had it. When do we want it . Now verizon workers are on the picket lines. One of their main grievances, 12hour days six days a week. Steve fletcher is shop steward here, and hes had enough. Its not about the money. You want to see your family. Reporter like thousands of other very eye zizon workers, h striking to protect his benefits package. Really its about keeping verizon jobs here. Reporter customethey say it wont affect customers, but these workers are just another corporate line. I know verizon says they have people that can do this job. Well, they dont have people statement and they told us they have trained workers to step in now to make up for the strike. A grand jury added two capital murder counts against robert hamilton. Hes already facing charges for capital murder and firstdegree murder for allegedly killing his wife and officer Ashley Guindon during an argument in his home.
