Now, one person is dead in a quadruple shooting in forestville, maryland. Kristin wright has been covering the tragedy for us. Reporter first i want to show everybody where this happened. Just right out here on the street in front of these houses here. Its right across from this parn Apartment Building where there are a lot of windows, potentially a lot of witnesses to help police solve this homicide and quadruple shooting. Detectives picked up bullets off the street. Neighbors say they heard a lot of gunshots and saw a woman fall to the ground where she died. Four people were shot right outside on hil mar drive in forestville this morning. Sounded like they emptied a whole clip. Reporter a witness watching from her apartment said she saw a man firing before he jumped into a car that sped away. Some people here are so afraid, they dont want to say anything. But reggie stop. Seems like people have no regards for human life. I dont understand it. I really dont. Violence is not the answer. Reporter a car with a shot out window sat in the crime scene marked as evidence. Neighbors are wondering if security cameras on the apartments across the street recorded the quadruple shooting. Police are still looking for whoever fired all those bullets. We have homicide detectives out actively working to establish suspects and motives. Reporter no id on the woman yet. Police have to tell her family what happened to her. Its a sad thing. Police are working on a suspect description following a fatal morning stabbing. This happened in the 1200 block of north capitol street in northwest. A man found with stab wounds and later died from his iie brand new details just in in the case of a 2yearold who died last week after being left in her familys car for the day. The boyfriend of the victims mother is facing Involuntary Manslaughter and child neglect charges. Northern Bureau Virginia reporter says documents show the anondales toddlers body temperature was rushed to the hospital with Second Degree burns where he body came in contact with a car seat she was sitting in. Voting and Election Officials are pretty excited. You know whats great about today . We have new voting apparatus, which is very easy to use. You fill out a paper ballot and then its scanned so we have an electronic record of your vote and we have the paper ballot to count if theres a dispute or close election. Its different. Its very different. Im so used to computers now. So they reintroduce these paper ballots to us like, okay. We have to choose who we want to go up against and youre trying to find the best person to go up against him. A Law Enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation tells nbc news the pot found was not for personal use. One location was an indoor facility with more than 100 plants. Whats the difference between conducting pop music and co usual music . I think the popular music is so interesting in that it offers such a broad array of different emotional content in such a short amount of time. So with a lot of songs that are only three to five minutes long, you get a lot of Different Things very quickly. Now, you often as you are here conducting an orchestra while youve got a singer, a performer or somebody blowing a horn or playing a violin. Yes. How do you manage that with all that going on on stage . Its a lot of rehearsal and a lot of great camaraderie between the artists and myself. We work very hard to make sure that its seamless between the. Many use prepackaged concert programs, you dont do that. No. You create all new stuff. We wanted to throw out the old mold ask create something totally new. Every time you see an american pops performance youre seeing a Brand New Program created just for that audience. Are people pretty surprised when they see how young the conductor is . I do a lot. I like to keep them at bay a bit. How old were you when you conducted your first orchestra . I was 17 actually with the West Virginia symphony. Wow. This is something you plan to keep doing . Absolutely. Whats in the future . This is just the beginning of what i hope to be a long and happy career. Youve done some pretty innovative things in your life. This show thats coming up the 1960s music which will be the finale for the season for your pops orchestra, any surprises you want to share with us . Well, i think its interesting and i think audiences will be excited to see a different kind of pops program in that theres an entire story line that plays out during the evening. So its that cross between theater and music. And i think that makes it even more exciting. Tell us a little about the story. So the story is a lot of different romantic interests happening at one time. So youll see someone fall in love with someone and then fall in love with someone else and ultimately end up with the person theyre meant to be with. Will we be able to sing along . Temperatures already up to 80 degrees. And whats responsible for that are these winds out of the south and west. Yeah, theyre gusting up a little bit at times up to about 20, 25 miles an hour. So thats helping pump up that temperature. And you may feel that humidity pump up a little bit as well. So temperatures winchester into the upper 60s but everybody else trying to get to the 80 degree mark. Were headed to the mid 80s today. Rain will be on its way by about 1 00 or 2 00. By the time home thats when were going to start to see some stormy conditions. Rain will move out after about 8 00 or 9 00. There are some areas that could linger into the late evening.
