New this morning, police are telling us a second child has died after some sort of incident at a home in Prince Georges County. We saw several officers and First Responders at this home on forest road in cheverly, maryland, around 2 00 this morning. Police say thats when they got a call about two children that were unconscious. Rescuers took both children to the hospital, but neither survived. Police arent saying how the children died. They do tell us this is not a random act. Well this morning, an 11yearold boy is recovering after he was hit by a minivan while riding his bicycle. The hit and run happened last night on Whiskey Bottom road near Woodland Hills way in laurel. Police said a minivan hit the boy from behind, throwing him off his bike. The driver of the minivan then took off. The boys father was also riding his bike at the time. The boy is expected to be okay. Investigators are trying to figure out what a man was doing on the tracks when he was hit and killed by a csx train. This happened last night near shady grove road in grabs branch way in gaithersburg. Investigators stopped all train traffic on the line during the investigation. Were waiting to get the name of the victim. Rescuers facing new problems they work to find two people presumed dead in plane crash. We told you yesterday a new york developer and his wife both experienced pilots passed out while flying to florida on friday. They veered off course and crashed in the ocean near jamaica. Rescue crews found the area where the plane went down. But they havent been able to find any wreckage. They believe it sunk into the water which can be more than 6500 feet deep there. The u. S. Coast guard and the jamaican military are involved in searching for the wreckage. New developments overnight in the crisis in iraq. The u. S. Has begun air strikes in western iraq targeting isis. The goal is to keep a vital dam from falling into the hands of islamic insurgents. Last month isis tried to capture the same dam, but iraqi forces were able to fight them off. The pentagon released a statement this morning saying that the Iraqi Government requested todays air strikes. The u. S. As launched 133 air strikes in iraq since the beginning of august.
