And police are still out here, actually out here canvassing knocking on doors and trying to gather evidence in the relation to the shooting that happened yesterday just behind me along that fence. And the victim were told is probably no older than 7 years old. It happened at about 5 30 yesterday afternoon. They were folks in church down the block for a baby shower and they heard grun fire and they found this child had been wounded in the shoulder. We are told that he was taken away conscious and breathing and someone else tells me that the kid is okay now, but of course being shot is never something that you just get okay from, especially when it happens to be a child. Police have yet to figure out whether there was one shooter, more than one person, whether there was an exchange of gunfire. They dont think that the child was the intended victim or target of the shooting, but residents have yet to figure out and why this keeps happening. We have to call for some that i thinks within pd and with the way the city is approaching in addressing crime in our community. This is unacceptable. He sets aside two hours each morning in case traffic is particularly bad. I dont think i could get more than four or five hours a night. Reporter and he has morning early rn data. Sleep experts say the early wakeups are driving our areas increased risk of drowsy driving. People arent getting enough sleep during their normal workweek. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder just after having her first child. She wanted to offer people suffering from different forms of Mental Illness a way to share their story. From music and poetry and storytelling. Experience has taught me that when you do have the courage to really share things like that that you think are buried deep within you, eventually someone will be able to relate to it. Reporter eric scott is a musician, a songwriter who has struggled with depression for years. 17yearold carmen found solace in writing about her experience. With ptsd, anxiety disorder and bipolar disorder. On may 15, this sunday, carmen and eric and 12 others will get up on stage and give voice to their struggles by sharing their stories. I remember when we sat down, i said i want to see this in every city and were getting there. Were a small team, but were very passionate about what we do.
