Well, this graphic video of a mentally ill inmate who died in custody has been released by the Fairfax County sheriff. She says she wants the public to see what happened. The video shows deputies struggling to get Natasha Mckenna into restraints and a special transport chair so they could move her to a different jail. Deputies were wearing protective suits because mckenna had previously thrown bodily fluids at them. They used the taser on her four times before discovering that she was unresponsive. Because there was so much inaccurate information that was being put out and it was important that we were able to show exactly the professionalism as well as the restraint as well as the patience that the deputies demonstrated. Mckenna suffered from schizophrenia. Mental Health Advocates said she should have never been in jail in the first time and a taser should not have been used to subdue her.
