The first ambulance dispatch was seven miles away from the home on hillside road in southeast. D. C. Fire Officials Say paramedics on fire engine 30 arrived in about four minutes. They asked for an ambulance from neighboring Prince Georges County but after finding out there wasnt one available chose to drive the baby to the hospital themselves. The childs aunt said he had asthma and lived in a hot apartment. The house is hot, its hot in there. A closer d. C. Ambulance eventually met up with the fire engine 15 minutes after the call went out. About halfway to childrens hospital, but then the baby was in Critical Condition and did not survive. An official cause of death has not been released. D. C. Fire and ems are promising to get to the bottom of the response. This death comes after two recent high profile incidents. A 77yearold man collapsed across the street from the firehouse and no one inside helped him. He later died. Earlier this year a 1yearold boy choked on a grape and the closest ambulance was not sent and a fire lieutenant was charged with neglect of duty. The federal judge in kentucky said enough is enough and sent kim davis to jail for contempt of court. In june, the u. S. Supreme court made samesex marriage legal.
