Reporter this shooting proved to be deadly. The victim an adult male found here on the scene on southern avenue. Taken to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead. I spoke to a man who lives in a nearby Apartment Building and he says just before 3 00 this morning, he heard several gunshots, he thinks with five or so. Very fast. And thats when he realized that something was wrong here just down the street from his complex. Southern avenue is closed in both directions. The investigation continuing here on the scene. Police have not made any arrests at this point and they are looking for witnesses. Now, will this comes in the midst of an alarming spike in lee proved to be deadly.
