They cleared neighbors from pierce, florida concerned that omar mateens condo could be rigged with explosives. Officials are trying to determine whether terrorism, hate or both pushed mateen over the edge. And former coworkers describe mateen as, quote, toxic and racist. They reported him to the fbi twice because of the comments he made about radical islamic propaganda. Law enforcement tells nbc news the 29yearold swore allegiance to isis moments before the rampage. A lot of the patrons saying that they felt the need to be around other people. They wanted to be together. This is a community that of course is quite sad gatoday, people trying to comfort each other. At the same time i think there is an effort to show resilience, to say despite what happened here in the Early Morning hours of sunday, this Community Still wants to show that it is strong, orlando strong is a hash tag trending on social media. So the community trying to show that ath additional vigils, there will be additional gathers of people throughout the week here. Families will continue to gather to try to get more information about the victims. We know that there have been a few locations for families to get that information and gather. But this is going to be several days more of sadness and pain for families here in orlando and for the Orlando Community. And the Gay Community in particular here. One Donation Center so overwhelmed that they actually asked donors to stop coming on sunday, instead asking them to make appointments and to come in a more spread out way over the next several days so that they could deal with the crowds.
