The hall that caught fire is behind us. 8500 block, that home is still smoking that upper level. That crime tape spans three town homes here. We understand this did reach an adjoining home. Residents are going to be displaced as a result. We are hearing on scene that the people who live in the center home do not appear to have been home when the fire broke out. Those two families in those two homes are likely going to be misplaced for quite a while. Fairfax county fire rescue remaining here putting water on hot spots and keeping an eye on the fire for potential problems. Theyre continuing to put out this fire and making sure it does not flareup. Reporter more than a year afterun University Students marched protesting the alleged rape of two female students, there is now a lawsuit holding the school at fault. Some of the allegations are hard to read. Last hour we shared the allegations made by two of the women. Now Megan Mcgrath has the accusations against a Campus Police officer. Megan . Reporter good morning. There are five current and former howard University Students who are part of this lawsuit. They are identified only as jane doe 1 through 5. Now in 2014 jane doe three she had experienced sexual and physical abuse at the hands of a Campus Police officer. She told University Officials that she wanted counseling because she was depressed and suicidal following the rape. Weeks passnd jane doe 3 said she received no help from the university. Now the lawsuit says she requested a record of her report from the counseling sector. People will judge her for her file. The lawyer representing the five women says the lawsuit was filed only after the university failed to help. These young women came to us after they had made loots of efforts on their own and advocates trying to help them, going to the administrationts o efforts on their own and advocates trying to help them, going to the Administration First reporting it. In an email a howard spokesperson told news 4 the university could not comment on the lawsuit. The statement went on to say, quote, the university has been and remains committed to diligently investigating any such area for faculty staff and students. 6 06. Captured at Crofton Middle School before a teacher found a noose hanging from a light. This is the third incident of nooses found on School Campuses in our area in just three weeks. News of that incident spread quickly and caused a lot of concern. Some students were texting their parents to make them aware. Parents were calling the school. Were hoping our students realize the severity of these incidents and realize they have an impact on members of our community. Take a look at the suspect. School officials believe the noose was placed on a light after they gained access to the roof at some point on wednesday. Call police if you them. Sources say it was requested by the white house and that comey would have never told the president he was not under investigation. In that same interview the president said he had planned to fire comey all along. That contradicted previous explanations from the white house.
