Reporter i called the victim in that shooting. He did not want to talk about this on camera. However, neighbors here are outraged. They tell us they want to know what led up to all of this. To come in here and tow people and without really knowing who these people are is the scariest part. Reporter residents on edge after learning this towtruck driver Jarvis Simpson was arrested accused of shooting the owner of the truck with a 9 millimeter glock. Parentally police are supposed to be monitoring the neighborhood. Officers didnt say what led up to the shooting, but a witnessness captured part of the confrontation on video showing the seconds after the shooing. The neighbors say the towtruck driver kept his gun pointed at the man even after he shot him. You can see the man who was shot running away. Neighbors here say parking is a problem in the neighborhood. They want answers about what happened and that something they are definitely limited in parking. It would be good to see a few more spots put up around the neighborhood. Reporter that tow truck driver was charged with assault with a Deadly Weapon and is out of jail. Johnny anthony crossed the center line and hit a tractor trailer head on. That truck driver was not hurt. Anthony died on the scene. They d not know what caused him to cross the center line. They will say goodbye to a 15yearold High School Student killed in a car accident last week. Heaven sheas family will hold a visitation today from 4 00 p. M. To 6 p. M. Is not open to the public. Yesterday friends gathered to honor her. Heaven shea died Tuesday Morning when the car she was in went off the road and into the woods. Loved ones say she was a very special person. She made an impact on everyones life. If you go to her school, the Guidance Counselors are upset. Just trying to console them to let them know things will get better. Im having a hard time consoling my own daughter and i just wanted to be here for all the young people. Shea was one of three students from west mech high school in that car when it went off the road Tuesday Morning. Two other students were seriously hurt in the crash, but survived. He lost control and crashed. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police say speed was a factor. Authorities are checking and tell us charges are pending. Police what led up to a double shooting. Two men have lifethreatening injuries after both were found shot in a yard of an East Charlotte home. A charlotte man will spend the rest of his life in prison for the shooting death of a man during a robbery from three years ago. Rubin curry was found guilty in the death of ronni steel. Curry has been centered to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Authorities say steel was shot and killed in february of 2013. Wedgefield drive near west boulevard. Prosecutors said currys dna was on a latex glove found at the crime scene. Police told channel 9 they are working to figure out if a string of shootings over the past 48 hours are connected. It started thursday night when bullets hit three homes. Then friday afternoon, 18year old harding was shot and kid on the corner. Witnesses say harding was in a car with two other people when a man standing outside fired shots at the car. Authorities are investigating what caused a serious crash on i77 that caused several injuries. Police say a car rolled over in the southbound lanes near sunset road yesterday afternoon. A woman died after being hit by a train. Another man was seriously injured. Four adults and one child were standing on the railroad bridge when a Norfolk Southern train crossed that bridge.
