One million customers are without power, matthew could hit georgia sometime tonight through tomorrow morning, and South Carolina tomorrow night. Hundreds of volunteers from around the country are being Hurricane Matthew relief. The American Red Cross says more than 30 volunteers from wisconsin are already on their way south. He tells me that deputies were scrambling to find this missing inmate. He ended up giving himself up, in Forest County where he was still a wanted man at that time. He tells me this is all because of human error, and hes very disappointed. Sheriff Eric Severson is looking into how a veteran corrections officer didnt see all the red he should never have been released. We had one individual who didnt recognize that that hold was still in place. It was in the file. It was readily available, but it was a mistake. A coworker would quickly discover the 36yearold inmate was still a wanted man out of Forest County for unpaid child support. But it was too late. He was gone. We spoke to worried neighbors yesterday. It is not known whether he saw himself on tv or had a change of heart. Late last night, he turned himself in to jail. Kind of a day to hang onto the hat. Dew points have dropped behind the front, as well. Any time we talk about the dew points, thats the amount of moisture in the air, as the to the dew point. And thats where some spots, even have frost advisories across much of western and northern wisconsin, basically the entire state.
