Good evening, not only have police made five arrests in the murder of charles c. J. Walker. They provided us mug shots and other killings very soon. Tonight, heres how we are going to lay it out for you. Well start with the arrest and c. J. s murder, then well talk about a shooting last night where two more teenagers were killed in Prince Georges County. Five arrests, all of them charged with firstdegree murder. Who pulled the trigger . Police arent saying yet. But someone shot charles c. J. Walker in the back monday afternoon as he was trying to run away during an attempted robbery. All five are at the scene. All five were in the suspect vehicle and all five participated in the murder of charles walker, jr. At this time, we are continuing to investigate and to determine which one actually pulled the trigger. The murder suspects, 20 yearold derek green from alexandria. 18yearold witner from temple hills. 23yearold lives in southeast d. C. 21yearold williams from oxon hill. And this 21yearold, kevin smith, lives in temple hills. Investigators say they all confessed. According to police, the men were in a white van, pulled up next to c. J. , as he walked along 28th avenue and hill crest heights. Carrying a bag with a box of timberland boots. The men demanded to shoot without getting out of the van and thats when c. J. Tried to get away and someone shot him in the back. The county executive appeared on fox 5 morning news and says the solution is multilayer. One were going to arrest the people and prosecute them. At some point, the twoyearold male fell out of the vehicle. Then the vehicle struck the threeyearold male. Some of the facts have changed since we have gotten here. Was there a second child involved . There was a second child. However, the second child, which was a twoyearold female, sustained injuries being dropped by the father rushing over to render aide. Okay, i want to make sure we get this straight. So theres a grandmother behind the wheel and the twoyearold was in the car . The twoyearold that was killed was in the car with her . The dad sees the car moving and she fell out of the car . Right now, all of that is under investigation as far as right now, no one is saying who was sitting where. The husband of a pregnant woman killed has been found dead in texas. 38yearold Jennifer Pearson was found monday morning after a fire in her apartment. Investigators say she had knife or gun shot wounds. Her husband was found dead yesterday of an apparent suicide. Fairfax county police havent said whether they believe he killed his pregnant wife, but they are not searching for suspects. There is growing concern over what happened to a man with down syndrome who died in the custody of the Frederick County Sheriffs Office. Ethan was in custody for a relatively minor offense. It involved 26yearold easten sailor, who was developmentally disabled from down syndrome. He came and saw an evening showing of the movie, zero dark 30, and apparently liked it so much, he wanted to see it again. The young man left the theater, then came back inside to see the late night screening without purchasing a new ticket. A manager could not convince him to leave. Ultimately three offduty Sheriff Deputies who were working security were called in to ask saylor to depart. Going by all accounts, the young man became loud, disorderly. The sheriff describes what happened next. Again, these are going by witness accounts. Very respectful, under his arms. Lift him from the seat, walk him over toward the egress area. At some point, they handcuffed him and escorted him out. The sheriff says the young men went down to the floor, handcuffs were removed and an ambulance was calledment ethan saylor died on the way to the hospital. The state medical examiner has ruled the death a homicide and listed the cause as asphyxiation. The husband of a pregnant woman killed has been found dead in texas. 38yearold Jennifer Pearson<\/a> was found monday morning after a fire in her apartment. Investigators say she had knife or gun shot wounds. Her husband was found dead yesterday of an apparent suicide. Fairfax county police havent said whether they believe he killed his pregnant wife, but they are not searching for suspects. There is growing concern over what happened to a man with down syndrome who died in the custody of the Frederick County<\/a> Sheriffs Office<\/a>. Ethan was in custody for a relatively minor offense. The sheriff is trying to calm the outrage. Fox 5s John Hanrahan<\/a> has the latest. Reporter the incident happened on january 12, at the west view cinema on route 85 in Frederick County<\/a>, maryland. It involved 26yearold easten sailor, who was developmentally disabled from down syndrome. He came and saw an evening showing of the movie, zero dark 30, and apparently liked it so much, he wanted to see it again. The young man left the theater, then came back inside to see the late night screening without purchasing a new ticket. A manager could not convince him to leave. Ultimately three offduty Sheriff Deputies<\/a> who were working security were called in to ask saylor to depart. Going by all accounts, the young man became loud, disorderly. The sheriff describes what happened next. Again, these are going by witness accounts. Very respectful, under his arms. Lift him from the seat, walk him over toward the egress area. At some point, they handcuffed him and escorted him out. The sheriff says the young men went down to the floor, handcuffs were removed and an ambulance was calledment ethan saylor died on the way to the hospital. The state medical examiner has ruled the death a homicide and listed the cause as asphyxiation. The three deputies have been suspended with pay and according to the sheriff, declined to answer questions about the death as is their right under marylands Law Enforcement<\/a> officers bill of rights. The sheriff says the death is being investigated. The Sheriffs Office<\/a> in Frederick County<\/a> has been bombarded with phone calls. Many of them critical. An angry postings on facebook questioned the handling of an obviously developmentally disabled man. Attorney, joseph, who represents the family, wishes another Police Agency<\/a> were investigating the conduct of the three deputies. That was John Hanrahan<\/a> reporting. Getting kids hooked and the consequences can be lethal. The number of teens using and abusing Prescription Drug<\/a>s has exploded. They are passing out pills, sharing with friends. As fox 5 Investigative Reporter<\/a> shows us, the cocktail of drugs and alcohol is a deadly game. Prescription drugs are the numberone drug of choice for 12 and 13yearolds. And 2 3 of teens who abuse them get them from family and friends. It starts with one pill, swiped from the Family Medicine<\/a> cabinet, turning parents into drug dealers and most dont even know it. I didnt sleep. I barely ate. I just used around the clock. Ali downed codone, zanax, methadone. She started at 16, getting her first high by stealing meds from her grandmother. She swapped pills with friends at socalled, farm parties, where the farm farm pseudocalls were as common as alcohol. Now, she is on her third stint in drug rehab. You can get it easily in school, you know, like by the time i reached college, its everywhere. Studies show one in six kids has used Prescription Drug<\/a>s to get high and more people die from Prescription Drug<\/a> overdoses than heroin or cocaine. It is russian roulette. Parents would never think that their child would be doing that, they combine it with other drugs, which become a lethal cocktail. A. , but her life spiraled out of control. You think its innocent, you think its all fun and games, and you think its just going to be this onetime. But it can really destroy your life. New at 10 00, a powerful explosion caught on video. A camera was rolling when a kansas city restaurant was destroyed in a massive blast. Today, crews found a body in the rubble. The person has not been identified, but authorities have been looking for a woman who worked at the restaurant and reported missing. Foxs mike tobin has the latest. Fire crews with cadaver dogs continue searching through the rubble of j. J. s, a. Ular restaurant, which was leveled by a natural gas explosion and fire. Kansas city pd, and atf are on the scene and will conduct their own investigation to find out what caused the explosion. The massive blast and fire, which followed, lit up the night sky in kansas city tuesday night. The incident happened around 6 00 p. M. At the peek of happy hour. More than a dozen people were hurt, at least three are in Critical Condition<\/a>. City leaders say the recovery effort and investigation is in overdrive as they race to beat a snowstorm heading to the region. A couple cold days coming and well have to watch the friday afternoon time slot. It looks like well get a combination of snow or sleet, maybe on friday afternoon. The air is dry. A little bit of cloud cover around. Snow well to our west. And then a pretty big storm that everybody is talking about out here in the middle part of the country. Blizzard conditions, maybe 6 to 12 inches of snow for some of the Central Plains<\/a> areas and a little bit of that moisture we will be watching here on friday.
