Reporter shawn and tone initial the investigation is still going on right now at the home where the shootings and fire happen. Youre looking at covered wagon lane and weve been watching as police go in and out of the house. Theyve also been focusing on that van over there. Police are calling this a Domestic Violence situation, but say theyre still looking into the specific relationship between the suspect and victims. Good the good news all three of the men who were hurt today are expected to be okay. We want to show you some new video now of police as they con fronted the suspects. Neighbors watched from their windows hearing gun shots and flash banks as police tried to get the shooting suspect to surrender. A block away we heard them, meanwhile, smoke is rising from the townhouse, a fire burning inside where the shooter is holding a man hostage. Moments later, begun shots. And the shooter is down. We watched as he was rushed to the hospital where he later died. And the suspect was actively wheeled in what appears to be a knife and was a co3tinuing threat to the safety of not objection to the form the officers, the community, but the hostage that was in the home while the home was on fire. It started around 2. 30, police say there was an argument inside the home and the suspect shot two men. They went to the hospital while a third man was held inside with the suspect. Police say then the suspect set the house on fire. We had a hostage that was in the home that called 911 and said he could not breathe. Police chief ed rosler said the suspect continued to in the home. He said this was a situation that put a lot of people in danger. You have human life actively endangered, you have a fire, you have an active shooting event. We train for these type of events. We have been talking to people who live in this neighborhood and nobody could really tell us anything about the people who live in that house. Tonight police still have not release any names. Police investigating three armed rob wrist in northwest. They happened between 8 and 9 00 tonight in the 1600 block of k street, just blocks from the white hours, the 5300 block of shearier place and in the 4700 block fortunately no one was hurt. Police say someone spotted a dark colored audi sedan during the robbery with the partial tag number 43ca or 43c. Its not clear what state the license plate was from. A dark colored sedan was also spotted a at the k street scene. Also in the district, a woman in a motorized scooter died this morning after she was caught in the cross fire of a begun battle l. Family members say vivian marrow was on her way to the corner store when she was shot near the intersection of else vin road and stanton road southeast. I dont know really, im at a loss of words because my mom was a wonderful lady and i know that. She looked out for all my family and cousins, even some of those people up there, they call her mom. You know what im saying . Marrows family described as a caring mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother. A man was also wonned in the cross fire. So far there have been no arrests.
