The news at 10 00 starts now we start with the windy Rainy Weather impacting our region im tony perkins im shawn yancy, it looked like it was going to storm but we avoided Severe Weather, lets get to sue palka and see if we can expect anything overnight i think the Severe Threat is over but we may still have a couple of showers and an isolated nonsevere thunderstorm. What happened we had a lot of energy to the north and south but right around the dc area, there was bits an atmospheric lid that capped these showers and storms from getting strong. We didnt have to deal with that, and tonight whats left is pretty light stuff. We have one more moderate downpour. Looks like Tuesday Morning is going to be dry, bright, and a little bit breezy as that drier air starts rolling into town. We got a frontal boundary its just off to our west and check out these temperatures, because its still 76 in dc, behind the front drops to 62 in pittsburgh, 54 in columbus, its going to be less hot human tomorrow, which is probably good news to a lot of you. Was really kind of tropical feeling out there. But dont be surprised. If we keep those winds gusting tomorrow about 25 to 35 miles an hour, but instead of coming from the south, they will be coming from the west. So thats how things are looking for tomorrow morning, at dry day, not completely done with a couple of showers or a rumbles of thunder tonight but looking like a much more pleasant day ahead for tuesday and wednesday, well have a look at the sevenday forecast coming up later.
