Breaking news this morning from massachusetts. The death of nfl star turned convicted murderer Aaron Hernandez taking his own life overnight. Prison Officials Say they found the 27yearold around 3 05 this morning in a statement they said hernandez was single cell and hung sim self with bed sheet he attached to his cell wip dough attempted to block his door from the inside by jamming the door with various items. Officials tried to revive him eventually he was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead just after 4 00 this morning. Spokesman for the prison are not away of any suicide notes written boy hernandez. Police investigation is underway. Hernandez was serving live sentence for the 2013 murder of odom lloyd on friday he was acquacquitted of 2012 double mur homicide in boston. Hernan same day his former team is due here in wads. Annie. Good morning guys much this whole story has sparked a lot of outrage. Not only here locally but across the country. A lot of people speaking out about this. The video the channel is called daddy zero five and features a maryland family parents and two five kids excuse me and they have more than 700,000 subscribers and millions of views and they are basically receiving a lot of backlash for these harsh pranks they do on their children and then posting them on youtube. Many of the viewers are a cueing them of exploiting their kids, abusing them for the sake of their jokes and clicks. Early this morning this video youre looking at they posted it. New video basically apologizing but also saying that, you know, this entire situation has gone way too far over what they are calling fake youtube pranks and that the recent backlash has put their family in real serious danger. Even saying that theyve received death threats. Now, lets watch the original video that spark all of this outrage and public concern. That video got hundreds of thousands of views and in this video the parents play a joke on their nineyearold son cody and it ends up leaving him crying hysterically. You can see him clearly distraught during the stunt. His mom explains at the beginning of this video cody had gotten into trouble for spilling ink on their carpet they shut it would be funny to trick him by spraying disappearing ink and blaming it for him much its laced with profanity and screaming many possible are osan agree after watching this they commented on their site negative feedback and a lot of hate and so yesterday youtube actually removed this video stating it violated its policy on harassment and shortly after the family released a statement that youre looking it says in part we deeply apologize for your feelings of concern. We do not condone child abuse in any any way, shape or form and the family says that claims of a abuse is tearing the family apart. Take a listen. Video is a fake. Theyre fake. Theyre over exaggerated, some videos are scripted. Some videos i mean theyre just made out. The kids ideas. My kids are terrified. They cant go outside. They cant i feel im so scared for when they go back to school. Now i want to mention that a lot of viewers actually con contacted our newsroom the fox5 newsroom about this video voicing their concern. Letting us know about it and also asking for us to look into Child Protective Services because they felt that they needed to step in and investigate. So we reach out to both cps in Montgomery County as well as maryland to elaborate on comment in video posted by the family they say or they claim that they were investigated and cleared. So this is obviously a talker a lot of people questioning the parenting decision that is were made and also the psychological longterm effects of this nineyearold and the other children involved because theres four others. But, you know, this continues to be a talker. Family just released this about five hours and weve been watching the number grow more and more people watching but you can see on this oneness disable the comments on this recent one. They also mention in this video guys they continue they will continue to make these types of videos but just change the tone and the style so perhaps maybe theyll back off doing those harsh pranks. Was that number the same before this video came out or lost people now just kind of jumping on board now this video has gained traction. But as you know, people do monetize these videos and make money and this family is make money off their videos and the more you click, the more you subscribe or more subscribers you have, the higher the rev revenue. Oh yeah. 700,000 subscribers is no joke. Nearly a million and thats a huge accomplishment in the youtube world when you reach a million. Not even two, 300,000 you still get money off of that. Its just another example of people doing anything to go viral. Even if its at the expense of their children. I know annie theyre claiming that its fake and its scr scripped.
