Out of 55,000 early voters in wake county, only 77 did not have acceptable photo id. It seems that the voter population running into a problem with this is college students. 112 people did not have id. Election Officials Say that many of those voters came from the polling site closest to the unc Durham County, home to duke university, the director there tells us it was mostly students from out of state who didnt have a proper id. They wanted to vote with their outofstate id. That is not one of the proper forms of id unless those people registered within 90 days of the election. Still, those students and others who did not have one of the many forms of acceptable photo id were able to cast provisional ballots that will be reviewed after tomorrows election. Negative impact.
