The victims grand fat held back tears when i spoke with him he still cannot believe the same tragedy he learn of on the news also claimed grandsons life. As a grand parent you just hope 91 of your children or the grandchildren go before you. And now it has happen. This is the first time its happened in our family. Reporter ronald is tearful and heart broken after learning his family is one of many tragically touched by the downed Malaysian Airline jet in ukraine thursday. His 19 year old grandson quinn was killed in the only american on board. Enormous. He didnt understand it. Its so useless. Its so senseless what happened. Reporter he got the devastating phone call thursday afternoon from his son thomas. Who was on vacation in with his wife and youngest son in indonesia. Quinn was to eventually meet up with them there before continuing the Family Vacation in bali but that wouldnt happ happen. Were supposed to out live our children but this time it didnt work unfortunat unfortun. Quinn had dual citizenship. His parents are dutch but born in new york. They lived in america five years while his father was with the dutch embassy. They eventually pulled back to holland. He was a student at Amsterdam University when he was killed. His grandfather lives in holland but was visiting his sister in woodbury, new jersey when we spoke with him. Big boy. Very lively and the whole family is in mourning. Reporter ronald says the last time he saw his grandson was easter when they celebrated quinns birthday. He will leave south jersey for holland next week to be with the rest of the family. The leader avenue philadelphia mosque is facing charges after police say he took the law into his own hands. He and another man are accused of attacking a member of their own mosque with a machete. Reporter at this local mosque in overbrook, members were stunned to hear of the arrest of one of their leaders after a violent attack that allegedly took place here tuesday morning. My own Muslims Police say when Prayer Services ended here two leaders of the mosque allegedly accused another member here of stealing from a donation jar. They moved quickly to exact punish many. They take his wrists and they place it on top the log. The second male goes into the mosque, comes out with a mache machete.
