Reporter we talked with neighbors who say cooper Health Systems ceo John Sheridan and his wife joyce were just about the nicest people you can know and in camden county, John Sheridan is being ribbed as a leader who touched countless lives. The burned out Somerset County home of cooper Health Systems ceo John Sheridan is surrounded by police tape under the watch of officers. An Early Morning fire ripped through the second floor. The bodies of he and his wife found inside. Its a shock. Terrible tragedy. You know something that you never think is going to happen on your block. Reporter investigators say the fire was contained to the upstairs bedroom where the victims were found. Neighbors say Cooper University hospital and Health System lost a true leader dedicated to camden county. Really had a heart for camden and the people of camden and brought in the Anderson Cancer Center under his leadership. Sheridan is credited for expanding the hospital and joined the organization as a Senior Executive vicepresident in 2005. Board chairman George Norcross said its hard to overstate how great a loss johns death is to his family friends, coworkers and cooper. He was a friend, a mentor an role model. There is no one else who had as big an impact on me as john did except my father. I will miss him very much. John sheridan also served in the cab nest former new jersey governor tom keen and was a rep pew tee attorney general. Meanwhile neighbors say they lost outstanding citizens.
