There have been three cases of ebola confirmed in this country. First was that liberian man Thomas Eric Duncan who died earlier this month. Then also two nurses who treated him. They caught it. But both of them are said to be relatively well. Some major relief on that cruise ship that finally docked in gloves son texas the first person they took off the ship was the lab technics who handled specimens from the Victorino Tim who died. Passenger got video of the woman as she was leaving a ship. A coast guard helicopter landed on the ship to take some blood samples from that woman and she tested negative for ebola. After the coast guard came, it was so scary. Because you didnt know why they do all that for somebody that was just a plane lab worker that was supposed to be a low risk person. That Lab Technician got into that white van right there and drove herself home under no restrictions. Also, a 21 day quarantine ended for people who came into contact with that victim who died Thomas Eric Duncan. 21 days is the maximum incubation period for the disease of ebola. That Group Includes duncans girlfriend whose had to mourn his death in complete isolation. After tonight that group will have a clean bill of health and finally be able to go outside once again and they no longer have to get the twice daily temperature reads from government Health Care Workers. Fears of Ebola Outbreak at a Burlington CountyElementary School has parents worried about the safety of their kids and tonight the School District in responding. Parents were told this weekend that two students from an east african nation have enrolled and they were to start classes tomorrow morning. But after backlash from parents, those kids are being kept out of school. At mapl maple shade howard yokum where the sign says parents are important here some parents say they feel be trade. Really concerns me. I dont want to keep my boy out of school. Reporter parents are talking about this letter sent by the school nurse to teachers and staff here at yocum it. By taking the African Students temperature three times a day for the next 21 days. But the letter wasnt sent home to parents. Just teachers. Once word got out, some wonder why they werent notified. It reminded parents that the students are symptom free and not from an affected area. But it also says the family is now lecked to keep their kids out of school for the next 21 days after the threat of ebola symptoms have passed. The children are from rwanda 2600 miles away from the closest affected country in west africa as close as Seattle Washington is to philadelphia. But for some, it really doesnt matter. Police found the mans body this morning at post road and pennsylvania avenue thats in morrisville. They believe he died from lacerations to his head. They do have two men in custody right now. Investigators are questioning also a third person. We dont know of a motive at this time or the victims identity. Police are looking for the person who opened fire on a man in the streets of west philadelphia. It happened just before 1 00 this morning near 38th and girard. This is in the parkside neighborhood. Police say they found the 33 year old man shot multiple times. He had gunshot wounds all over. He was taken to the hospital where he later died. A shooting in philadelphias logan neighborhood sent a 20 year old man to the hospital. It happened overnight on the 600 block of lore ray street. He was shot several times. Tonight hes listed in critical condition. So far no body has been arrested. Update on that terrible fire in the western side of the state of pennsylvania. Six victims from that pittsburgh area fire they died of spoke inhale laying. The medical examiner released the results of the autopsies today. A 27 year old mother, her children, ages two to seven, and also her disabled fatherinlaw were all killed in that Early Saturday Morning fire. The woman husband was able to escape the fire but he has major major burns. Hes still in the hospital. Family members say that the couple initially managed to get out of the fire but then they went back in in order to save the others. She left metallica concert never to be heard from again and forensics in that case also matched Jesse Matthew the suspect in the Hannah Graham disappearance. He fled to texas and was brought back to charlottesville a couple of weeks ago charged in the graham case. They were found so close. Maybe about 2 miles from each other from where morgan went missing from where the remains were found yesterday. The other thing thats very significant here the fact that Jesse Matthews mother owned a home actually about a block away from where the remains were found yesterday and this is an area that Jesse Matthews grew up in and hes very familiar with.
