She says cosby fondled her from behind, put his hands down her pants and assaulted her. Charges today are filed as a result of new information that came to light in july of 2015. Statute of limitations in this type of case is 12 years. Reporter prosecutors investigated the case back in 2005 but decided not to file charges. After cosby and his victim settle add civil suit, his Attorney Says the new charges filed less than a month before the statute of limitations expires are politically motivated. Its sad for his legal team, for his family, that he would be dragged through this. That this would be a political maneuver that this would be the fulfillment avenue campaign promise. The fact that he is blind is a fact of life. The fact that hes 78 years old and that hes being charged as a 78yearold blind man 12 years after an alleged incident. Shootings are up 18 and 84 of homicide victims died of gunshot wounds. Thats troubling because that does represent an increase in the number of gunshot victims that weve had this year and obviously thats not good. A lot of illegal guns out there and we have a lot of people that arent afraid to use guns.
