Tonight detectives are trying to figure out why he was targeted or if the thieves and carjackers were actually targeting his brand new high end dodge ram pickup truck. Reporter for the family of 35yearold metro, some scary moments tuesday evening when two suspects carjacked the father of three right out of his new 2016 dodge ram pickup truck in west kensington. He comes here every afternoon to pick up my grandson. Reporter police say he had just pulled up to relatives home the on the 2,000 block of bodine street to pick up his 13yearold son when two men carjacked him seconds before his son came out of the house. The two perpetrator as proved him, drug him from the car, forcefully and struck him in the head, shot him. And then fled with the vehicle. The neighbors were saying black car was following him. Reporter Police Respond to go scene found victim lying in the street bleeding from his head. They rushed him to episcopal hospital. He was then transferred to Temple University hospital in stable condition. Suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. They got the kids. Hes a good worker. Definitely hiend expensive vehicle. Most of his neighbors know hes autistic and are compassionate towards the family. But recently a letter they received changed everything. To the parent of a small child at this house. The opening line of the letter was actually fairly tame compared to what followed. Comments that bonnie says hurt that much more because of the challenges that autism presents for her son every day. Investigators say masons vehicle knock the boy to the ground on south 57th street in kingsessing an she started to leave the scene the suv hit wilson again and killed him. Mason has been sentenced to two to five years in prison. Womans car riddled with bullet holes. One of those bullets landed just inches from her heart.
