He walk out the door with a 50,000 diamond ring after he threatened to kill an employee. Tonight a jeweler here told me it was a gutsy move. He look like a regular guy. Reporter he walk into mack weiners Jewelry Store on jewelers row as so many customers do browsing until he spot add pricey diamond ring and asked to see it. Seconds later he was out the door with a 24carat white gold diamond ring reportedly worth 50,000. Had a lot of guts and did the wrong thing and eventually theyll get caught and pay the price. The jeweler store next to weiners was trouble by the rob brief his next door neighbors but insiste insisted jewelers s police and lots of cameras. He called eight safe place to do business. Its such a rare occurrence. Its just a very seldom thing that you see. This street is very very well protected. Police say a female employee at the jeweler store confronted the thief and tried to get him to turn over the diamond ring but he wasnt having it. Right before valentines day last year two suspects broke into barskys Jewelry Store and made off with 400 grand in expensive merchandise. In april 2015 an employee at this Jewelry Store was kidnapped, tased and tortured in a botched robbery here. Its not going to take long for these police to find him. Reporter three years ago we told you how a contractor ran off with brooks entire life savings. 25 grand for a new addition that would have doubled the size of their Netter Providence township house. The money gone. The contractor never prosecuted. The da claimed it was a civil matter. We also told you how several contractors promised to help the family finally build that addition. Unfortunately, the family got burned again. Most of the contractors backed out of the project. We were hoping that, you know, we could stay here and make this our retirement castle and everybody has their own room. All the neighbors keep asking when is it going to get done . When are they going to come. Reporter two companies have stepped up to help. One provided architectural drawings for the addition. The other donated a concrete foundation. But that snow covered slab will sit until the family can again come up with the money to pay for their dream addition something they say will take years. You just want to cry. All right, shawnette. The murder trial of a Camden County father accused of killing his own threeyearold son has been delayed. The trial for david cree yacht tow was set to begin today defense now says it needs more time. Cree yacht tow made a brief appearance in court today. The trial is now been set for april. He has pleaded not guilty to murder and child endanger many charges. Prosecutors say he killed his son brendon in Haddon Township in 2015 because his teenaged girlfriend did not like kids. Unbelievable scene this weekend in fishtown. Tonight neighbors say its unbelievable its still not fixed and enormous water main break and sing hole has neighbors on one fishtown block extraordinarily frustrated. Some still have no water.
