The victims family hadnt seen him in day so they went to his house looking for him. They were devastated as you can imagine to find him dead ton see exactly what happened to him. My wife come in. Shes hollering for himself couldnt find him. And she says the couch and everything is a shamble. Reporter frank if as yo and his wife were stunned when they opened the door to their sons tiny house just behind their home on buck road in elk township. He took me inside to show me the place had been ransacked. I seen the couch laying over and the television blasting. Reporter frank says he lifted the couch and there was his son. 59yearold Michael Fazio dead underneath with a pile of blankets covering him. Took them off. Then i seen him i grab his butt and shook him a few times. No movement. So i ran right in and called the police. Reporter frank says whoever did this bound his son and left him for dead on the blood stained carpet. His feet were tied. Hands behind him. Bag over his head and duct taped. Reporter they found michael around noon on monday after they hadnt seen him all day sunday. The Gloucester County Prosecutor Office says michael was assaulted and an autopsy determined the cause of death to be quote mechanical and positional a fix ya. Happening now a brazen thief targeting food trucks in West Philadelphia. He spotted on Surveillance Video casing the neighborhood but he pulls out a gun. Reporter well, dawn, he works seven days a week to feed his family and hes been known to feed other people down on their luck without any money. Well tox night, this food truck owner here in West Philadelphia who had a gun pointed to his head says he doesnt feel safe around here any more. Shaw ramon has been cooking up halal food from his truck on 45th and walnut street since he immigrated from pakistan a year and a half ago. Hes never had a problem here until monday night. Showed me the gun like he shoot us and he say give me the money. Reporter Police Released this Surveillance Video of a man who pulls up in a darkcolored chevy malibu calmly walks down 45th street towards this food truck. And in a matter of a minute, police say he entered the back of the truck and put a gun to ramons head and got away with hundreds of dollars in cash, vitter yo captured the man just before and after the robbery. These people are out there freezing in these trucks trying to make a few dollars for their families. Reporter Police Detectives say the man struck again two hours later a mile and a half away. This time a food cart at 34 many and lancaster on the campus of drexel university. Again, the victim held up at gun point where the guy got off with hundreds of more dollars. Enters this truck points a gun to the persons head and demands the money. Takes it and gets back in the car and they do the same thing, gets in the car and drives off. Number one goal is just to recover these girls, get them out of the situation but then also to go after the people that are doing this to them. Reporter investigators also say they work hard to get young women out of the sex trade and on a better path in life. The Salvation Army plays a vital role. They cover everything from housing to basic needs, clothe clothing. They need care as well as longterm therapy, treatment. Reporter investigators say sex trafficking operations are not just confined to the inner city. They can pop up in neighborhoods like this one in northeast philly. Human trafficking is one these types of crimes that is truly hidden in plane sight. If youre seeing a lot of different people and coming, coming and going, Pay Attention to your neighbors. Pay attention to the cars that are coming and going. Parents need to be aware of what their children are doing online with mobile devices.
