Chaos along the Las Vegas Strip when a gunman barricades himself inside a bus. And across the country today President Trump supporters clash with protesters. We begin tonight with that standoff on the vegas strip. Good evening everybody, im joyce evans. Shots are fired. One person is dead before an armed man is taken into custody. He had barricaded himself inside a busful of people for hours. Foxs andrew craft is in las vegas now with more. Reporter adult male gunman taken into custody after barricading himself inside a bus along the Las Vegas Strip saturday following a dealed student. This incident is now resolv resolved. We have the suspect in custody were did not locate any additional victims thon bus. That individual was taken into custody without incident and there were no shots fired by the police during this incident. Reporter standoff prompted partial closure of the busy boulevard. When we came out, there were at least six officers with their weapons drawn including an ar Assault Rifle and others had hand guns drawn and they were asking yelling if anybody had seen anything and we had no id idea. A planned rally supporting President Trump started out in old city but protesters wanted to have their voices heard as well. And at times, things got heated. Jenn for joyce has more. Reporter around 11 30 am crowds of people gathered on the lawn of Independence Mall for an organized pro trump rally. We just want to simply support our president. Reporter despite the violence Jennifer Sterling and the other Trump Supporters call the march a success. We were surprised they had a few little knuckle heads show up. We expected that. Four of them are facing several felony charges including illegal use of pepper spray. Compare that to philadelphia where only two people received written summonses. Now to the latest on the American Health care debate. The fallout continues over the failure of the republican American Health care act. The bill was pulled from the house floor just minutes before it went to vote. That the president and house leadership knew it would not pass. In lakewood, new jersey, a man a Young Man Holding on for deer live when hes hit by a car and then the car drags him down the road. This video comes from lakewood police. Cops say the driver hit a parked car and when a 19yearold man tried to stop him, the driver rammed into him, too. The young man grabbed on to the hood while the driver dragged him for a quarter mile. Police arrested the driver. Hes identified as 23yearold wrapping right now, students at Villanova University dancing the night away all for a good cause. Just minuteing a students wrappd up a dance marathon that went all day long. It raises money for families affected by childhood cancer. Posters and glow sticks, tshirts and little sing battles. Its a joyful party that means the world to the children who benefit, and the college kids who help put it on. Theres nothing we want more than for them to have a normal childhood and when theyre here and they can dance and hang out with college kids, and feel loved. Investigators are looking into what started a fire in Medford Burlington county in n it took firefighters an hour to get the flames under control on the unit block of went wood court. In Allentown Police have made an arrest in a deadly shooting overnight. Police say 25yearold joshua cologne opened fire outside club due by in the american plaza. Killing one man and hurting two other people. Cops saw him shooting at pedestrians in the area. Then one officers opened fire on him. He quickly jumped into a car and sped away. Police say cologne is being treated for gunshot wound to the leg and he will be held without bail and facing murder charges. Also tonight, two fallen firefighters are being remembered. Many people came out to engine 38 in philadelphia to help paint a mural that honors lieutenant joyce craig and firefighter james heinz. Craig died in december of 2014 while fighting a row house fire in west oak lane. Heinz died almost 20 years ago fighting a city fire as well. He was from the same neighborhood where craig worked. The artist is honored to work on this mural. Being able to do a project thats public, thats for the Fire Department for the people who gave their life for me a philadelphia citizen, its just so awesome to be able to have my work be so mean full. Craig was the first female firefighter to die in the line of duty in philadelphia. The mural will be located at the lawn crest free library. Mailing 20 large bags of marijuana, not smart in the first place but sending it to the wrong person thats even worse. Reporter take a look at this shocking video. 20 bags of marijuana each just over 1 pound that police say delivered to the wrong person via ups on myrtle drive in southwest atlanta. There was 20 sealed packages, vacuum sealed packages of marijuana. We did our preliminary test on it. It was determined to be marijuana substance. The package was a birthday bag that clearly said happy birthday on it. Reporter a friend of the woman tells me the moment they realized what was inside the 29pound package they called 911. From our investigation it had been through maybe five or six different addresses that was incorrect. Reporter according to police, the package had five incorrect delivery attempts. Investigators say the package originated in arizona. Then went to washington state. Douglasville and then atlanta. And get this. Police tell me the owner and or recipient filed a claim with ups for a lot of package. We can identify the person who was going to receive the package, then thats avenue for us to be able to prosecute. Reporter Atlanta Police say the post office, fed ex and ups are very proactive in alerting them when they smell drugs within packages. But in this case, the bags were vacuum sealed making it difficult to smell. There is a methodology to being able to seal these packages so the odor cannot be detected. And we had technical difficulties as you heard but we wanted to let you know that tose students at villanova that dance marathon raised more than 250,000 to help fight pediatric cancer. What a great accomplish many and good dancing out there tonight. Okay. Well in milwaukee, two transit bus drivers happened to be in the right place at the right time to save a mans life. Jenny mitchell was training a new driver when all of a sudden they spotted a man slumped over inside his car in the middle of the road. Mitchell stopped her Training Session and she jumped into action. His foot was still on the brake but the car was still running i put it in park and turned the car off, and i checked him for a pulse, and it was faded but, um, his chest was moving so i knew he was still alive. Just a few weeks ago, that same driver rescued two children who were wandering in the street by themselves. The man inside the car had reportedly overdosed and he regained consciousness but he was later arrested. It was a blockbuster week for fbi director james comey and nsa director mike rodgers and now theyre headed back to capitol hill for more. Foxs Garrett Tenney is following the story from washington. Reporter either this weekend are early next week the House Intelligence Committee is expecting to receive new documents from the nsa detailing just how Many Americans have been swept up in the government surveillance of foreign targets and then have their names unmasked or identified. Those documents are expected to include members of both the trump and clinton campaigns and will likely be the subject of a lot of questions at the committees closed hearing this week with director james comey and the man who runs the nsa, mike rodgers another topic thats sure to come up new evidence received by devon nunez claiming to show that the names of some trump transition officials were picked up during surveillance operationings and then unmasked and spread throughout the Intelligence Community during the final days of obama administration. There are reasons to unmask names. I can tell you without question that at least some of i seen i dont know what that reason would be. Maybe someone has good reason for it not from what ive been able to read. Reporter nunez is the only person who has seen this evidence and hes waiting to receive the full report it comes from to know all of the details but hes received a lot of criticism for going straight to the press and then to the white house when he received the new intelligence. Leaving the rest of the committee in the dark. Its not just he has assured them with democrats on the committee but hes assured them with republicans in the committee. All of us are essentially in the dark what was most concerning about that whole incident is taking that information to the white house.
