But lets focus in north and west into Lancaster County, also, berks county just to the north of the reading area. Rainfall rates here approaching 4inches per hour. Well move down the shore right now. Look at the moderate to heavy rain. Lewes, Rehoboth Beach moving toward cape may, wildwood, zoom in closer, rainfall rates through sections of Cape May County one to 2inches per hour. Take look at the red highlighted box. This is where we have that Flash Flood Warning in effect until 1 30am. Already a couple of inches of rain has fallen in this section of berks county. Parts of south jersey, parts of delaware, still under that Flash Flood Watch through 2 00 oclock tomorrow afternoon. Ponding and runoff. Skyfox over a train accident in delaware county. Police say an eightyearold child had his leg run over by a csx train. This happened in tinicum township just before 6 00 oclock tonight. It was at the darby creed bridge. That child was raised to Crozer Chester with a lower body injury. Its not clear how badly the child is hurt. Police are investigating how in the world this happen. Police say 23yearold jonathan dry berg took a womans purse just before 7 00 oclock on west over road and made a run for i Police Arrived and gunfire was exchanged. She and other neighbors on and around the 4700 block of james street in frankford praising the first degree murder charges filed friday against 69yearold Kenneth Hoyle accused of gunning down two neighbors two weeks a ago. The tragedy of it is its so close to home. You know, you never think that is going to happen and it does. And it is so close to home. Reporter police say hoyle originally admitted to shooting 45yearold bobby depaul and his girlfriend 42yearold august democracy after allegedly claiming they jumped a fence during an argument. He allegedly called the shooting an act of selfdefense, was originally taken into custody and then released. But i think its great that they finally arrested him. He should have never gotten the first night it happen. Reporter two hoyles initial release especially angered friends of the victims. Im very angry. And to have to see this guy, you know, every day, bobby not here no more. August not here no more. And to see him come out and go shopping and live his regular life and bobby cant do that to more. Thats not right. Thats not right to us the public, his friends or hess relatives. Okay, dave, thanks. And happening right now out of fairmount, residents are on high alert for a potential rabies outbreak and tonight pet owners are worried it may be spreading. Rabid cat was recently spotted in the neighborhood. And park officials are warning what may come next. Fox 29s brad sattin has more from the ben franklin parkway this evening. Brad . The worry is if there is one animal with rabies even though that cat has been caught could there be others . Outdoor activities for the park continued as normal but certainly at least among pet owners tonight theres real concern. Friday fun and always business pennsylvania of a playground just across the street from high rise condo building kids enjoying the park, dogs out for their afternoon walks, and then theres this, a rabies alert. A rabid cat found by the park earlier this week hadi mckenzi mckenzies father spotted while walking their dog bloom. They sort of saw the cat from a distance and he tried to kind of come closer and my dad like picked up blue and ran away. Reporter flyers put out by the Citys Department of Public Health warning while the cat was removed it may have exposed other animals that could definitely rabies in the coming days or week. Police say back on wednesday they ran up to a woman on the 6,000 block of sansom street after a brief struggle they grabbed her purse and ran away. Believe it or not thats the case at the old City Construction site where 70 full sets of human remains were excavated back in february. 12 of those sets have now gone missing. Just disappeared. He also stole her purse before running off. Tonight police say theyve caught the guy who did it. Our Shawnette Wilson is live at the Winslow Township Police department with more on this. Shawnette. She tells me her sister right now is in the hospital for a medical illness unrelated to what happened and in the meantime though police say they found the knife the suspect used and the victims purse in has home. Surveillance video from a neighbors Home Security camera captures a frightening crime. Watch as a woman walking outside is robbed at knife point. Well show it to you again. The man pretends to walk by. Then doubles back and grabs her from behind. 95 in hand he snatched her purse and ran off. Came in the house and she said she had been robbed. Report roar this woman who doesnt want to be identified, says the victim is her 78yearold sister. She says her sister was visiting her at her home in the Lehigh Manor Development in sicklerville when it happened around 3 00 oclock last friday afternoon. She is upset. Shes not particularly anxious to come back. Reporter police say the man held a hunting 95 to the womans neck. The woman told him her purse only had 20 and credit cards in it but he took it any way. Her sister says she came back to the house shaken up and called police right away. The way she came in, she was upset but the way she came in, she went right to the phone or whatever. To report it. Yeah. And then she told me after she had made phone calls. Police arrested the suspect today 36yearold jamal gatson. Officers on patrol caught him walking in the area of the same neighborhood and wearing the same clothes he had on when they say he committed the robbery. Thats what bothered me. Youre telling me he was caught. That really gives me makes me feel more comfortable. Reporter and police say that the suspect had active warrants out for his arrest when they caught him. To night, he remain in the Camden County jail. The other good news here tonight, dawn and chris, the victim the 78yearold woman was not hurt lucky to be okay tonight. That is good news, shawnette. Tonight a utah man facing murder charges after police say he killed his wife aboard a cruise ship. 39yearold christie, was found dead tuesday night on the emerald princess the ship was crying off the coast of alaska. Her husband kenneth has been charged with her murder. According to the fbi when asked what happened, he said she wouldnt stop laughing at me. The criminal complaint also says he was seen dragging his wifes body to a balcony. Christie was a beautiful soul. She just would light up a room when chef shed walk into it. Her smile, um, just put people at ease. The emerald princess was carrying 4500 passengers and crew on a week long trip. Passengers were kept aboard for hours after they returned as the investigation was underway. Across new jersey, state and local authorities are working together with one common goal to reduce gun violence. Theyre hoping to give people incentives to turn in their guns and get them off the streets. Jeff cole tells us how they did that in cam today.
