They are in the gulf coast tonight and more may be sent. We anticipate that we will have to stepped more staff and volunteers as harvey make landfall and we can anticipate the impact of it on the affected communities. Still thinking wind gusts very high and also severe a tornado or few tornadoes possible. As this continues to make landfall were already seeing tornado warnings popping up. Along with our surge warnings and hurricane warnings. Fox 29s joanne pill lee gee at the Chester County prison with the latest ornithes elaborate scheme report roar police in Chester County say this is a case that shows how dangerous drug traffickers can be. Cops say the alleged dealer hatched an elaborate murder for cell in Chester County but it all started with a routine traffic stop for 29yearold christopher piccard of state college. The defendant was pulled over and stopped and found with 813 baggies of heroin. Mid level heroin dealer. Pickard was arrested for possession of heroin a passenger in his car you. No pickard was taken at the prison. While he was sitting in prison, he decided that the passenger must have been cooperating against him with the police. Reporter and this happened next. We got a tip from inside the prison that the defendant was looking to hire a hit man to kill the victim. Reporter cops then used an undercover to pose as a potential hit man. Piccard allegedly used his girlfriend in the plot. The defendant got his girlfriend involved. They supplied photos of the victim. They supplied the location of the victim. They supplied the best time to kilt victim. Reporter cops say 27 year Latrice Harrington met the undercover, supplying guns, 2,500 in cash, and an ounce of heroin to carry out the hit. When the undercover told her he did the hit, she relayed the info to piccard who said, thank you. This is the drug culture trying to make sure that people will not talk. And whether they cooperated or not, they are willing to kill witnesses just based on their suspicion. Da says piccard went from facing a couple of years in prison to facing a couple of decades in prison in this alleged murder for higher scheme. Sadly jesse corn blooms lost her battle with Breast Cancer traveling all the way from Denver Colorado this is the first time jesse is without his mom at a susan g. Komen walk for the cure. Hes wearing her pink wings in her honor. What i realize you can preare emotionally for Something Like this. But what you have to do you have to focus on the positive. I remember my moms greatness, her smile, her laughter, her energy the things like that is what keeps me going. Like comradery, healing, love and understanding. This group of women part of a church group that traveled to philadelphia from outside memphis, tennessee. We started for our friend marsha who is a Breast Cancer survivor, and her sister sue who is also a survivor and i lost my sister to Breast Cancer in 2010 so were walking for our family and our friends. The sea of pink women and men showing courage and commitment pounding the pavement for 60 miles over thee days to stepped a message. We will not let cancer beat us.
