Reporter police say officer mccullough and his partner came upon a carjacking after earlier robbery by griffin and another man. The officers were chasing griffin when gunfire erupted. He was hospitalized in stable condition with gunshot wound to his left leg. Police also arrested 20yearold zamir koy yet as griffins accomplice. Reporter Court Records indicate that griffin was arrested on gun charges just last month. His case was thrown out last week after a witness failed to appear. He was released from prison.
