Huddled in prayer students console one another how outside of Howard High School of Technology One morning after one of their classmates, amy Frances Joyner was beaten and killed inside of a school bathroom. Students stopped by a growing memorial to place stuffed animals and other trinkets in honor of their friend amy. It hurt me. They hurt me a lot. High School Senior jasmine says she was like a big sister to amy. An often shared advice on how to deal with high school drama. I just recently talking to him about this kind of stuff, dealing with emails and jealousy and telling her dont worry about nobody. Just worry about yourself. These are surveillance images of the suspect police certainly want to find. You can see the victim grabbing at the mans neck during the attack. Now, early wednesday morning when the attack occurred. Police say the woman was walking along the 1300 block of wharton street when she noticed the suspect following her. So she pulled out her pepper spray as a precaution, then moments later police say he pounced. The offender at rushed up behind her, grabbed her, tackled her to the ground and pulled her dress down. The top of her dress he pulled down exposing her. She manages to fight him off and pepper spray him which time he fled. I truly am. Got emotional and my response was it would be an honor to serve as your chief. Moten was sworn in by his old mentor judge steinberg now retired flew up from florida and motens two youngest kids were there to share the experience. Moten supervisors more than 70 investigators and is the first africanamerican to be named chief. 20 years earlier, upping, a guy who, you know, had the opportunity most kids dream about playing in the nfl had nothing. Had nothing. Had it not been for ted reid i would have been homeless. Had nothing. He always had it in him and these were transitional skills that he had as an athlete.
