Reporter emotions run high for the father of Amy Joyner Francis after closing arguments played out in the case against three girls charged in the death of his 16yearold girl. Reporter today prosecutors said the 17yearold girl charged with criminally negligent homicide not only conspired to confront amy over an ongoing beef but did so and was ultimately responsible for her death. But the 17yearolds attorney disputes that claim saying she hardly punched amy hard enough to cause injury. The autopsy found amy died of undiagnosed heart defect aggravated by the stress of the fight. For one of the attorneys to say that, you know, amy was not hit x amount of times, amy was hit 26 times. She was kick six times. You can see that she was kicked in her head. Police say the shooter 53yearold Cedric Anderson right here had four arrests over 20 years but none of those cases ended in conviction. Police say anderson and karen smith married in january and separated in march. Anderson shot and killed smith in her classroom also shooting two students killing one. Anderson later shot and killed himself. Now the student who died eightyearold Jonathan Martin martinez. He was airlifted to a hospital but didnt make it into surgery.
