Their house was broken into and then their Grocery Store was burglarized and police think this crime spree could be a lot bigger than one familiarly. Police are trying to piece together the clues. Chris, so far authorities believe these guys have struck at least four times in Delaware County and here in philadelphia. Each time theyre targeting asian business owners, sometimes at home, sometimes at work. Its just really messed up with our lives really. Mark kim says his family feels like theyve been violated after a fourman crew of burglars broke into their Delaware County home then his Family Business in southwest philadelphia. Theyre having trouble just dealing with, you know, the pain of losing a lot of money, a lot of their goods, a lot of jewel jewelry. Reporter kim owns the house of cheese deli a few feet from a Police District on woodland avenue in southwest philly. Burglars struck his house in marple township one day. His business the next. Anything from lunch meat to cigarettes to cash, change that we have that we store. We believe we can attribute four different burglaries to this group so far. But we dont know how many they actually have committed. Surveillance video shows the suspects wore gloves but no disguises or marks. Theyre not camera shy and theyre ambitious. Investigators say this burglary crew cut a path of crimes from Delaware County to philadelphia. We think theyre watching surveillance and have their habits down pretty well. Only good thing that comes from this theyre not going in there when the people are home. Its a scary knowing that they walked in to our home, you know, they broke into our home. They hope someone will recognize them and contact police. My hope of this whole situation is they get caught and get what they deserve.
