He was at todays sentencing but he let the District Attorneys Office due the talking. He knew what he was doing in this case. He stated im sorry, i didnt want to have to do this to you. He reached in his waistband and pulled out a firearm hes prohibited from possessing. The defendant did not want for whatever reason the defendant attacked officer cos stick that night but the defendant fully was aware of what he was doing. The defense argued that officer cos tick was the one who got aggressive off the bat in an argument. The jury did not buy. Charges have been filed in shooting involving Philadelphia Police and septa officers. Prosecutors have charged 37yearold jose lebron with attempted murder in a number of other charges. They say he refused to drop his gun last thursday when officers responded to the 400 block of east somerset street for a report of a shooting. Hes accuse of shooting his 48yearold wife seven officers then opened fire on him hitting him in the shoulder and legs. Hes now in stable condition. His wife is in critical condition.
