Fox 29 meteorologist dave warr warren. Dave, gorgeous but a little hot out there today. Hot again. Sunshine continues. We put question mark to the heat wave hit 90 again today. Thats two days in a row. Could hit it tomorrow but then things will change a little bit. We have a cooler day on monday with some periods of rain. Some of that rain could be heavy at time. A ways to go before we see that. Enjoy the sunshine. Another mild night tonight. Other temperatures at 89 this hour. Dew. 64. Once that gets above 60 and notice the humidity in the air its not in the upper 60s what makes it uncomfortable. But still noticeable. Its coming just a bit. Light breeze keeps things a little cool at times southwest at 15 miles an hour. Showers and few thunderstorms they are rest of the area right now. But drifting east. Little start to fall apart once the sun goes down we may see a few hold together. So that they reach the western suburbs here mainly berks county, lancaster county, portions of the Lehigh Valley the poconos could see an isolated shower or thunderstorm. Theres the cooler air with th that. That rain cooled air has not made the here yet but could it drop the temperatures quickly. You do get caught in a shower. Cooler down the shore that trend continues. Our 99degree trend could continue tomorrow. That would make it three in row but certainly not sunday or even monday. Monday we drop well down into the 70s. Thanks to this. This is a tropical depression. Its number two. If it does become a Tropical Storm it would be not alex but bonnie. Alex was in january. So well monitor that. It will work its way towards the carolinas. Were concerned with moisture with that because it will work its way up the coast and could impact the area by late sunday and throughout the day monday. These are possibleup showers. Theyre again in the forecast tomorrow. Mainly north and west of 95. Clear overnight tomorrow night although we see low clouds coming in. Off the ocean across delaware and south jersey. Showers and storms again sunday evening. But the rain stays around for while. So monday morning you can wake up to some rain. Then rain heavy at times. Theres the moisture from that tropical system. And a front approaching which is steering it right up the coast and out to sea. Unfortunately not in enough time we see the rain impacting us on monday. With that cooler breeze that whipped will be out of the northeast. So right along the coast it may not even top 70 degrees. Inland it will be into the upper 70s. Numbers quite a bit cooler than what weve seen yesterday, today and tomorrow. Even north and west the temperatures barely up to about 80 degrees. Shore cast show 76, 73, then down to skate. Some of that rain heavy at times that wind right along the coast keeping it very cool there thanks to the water temperature into the 50s and close to 60. 73, 84 to shit 99 again tomorrow unless you get caught in a shower or thunderstorm will drop the temperatures quickly. Muggy night tomorrow night 81 degrees. Now once that rain clears out, it dries out quickly that humidity drops sunny and warm day on tuesday and wednesday with bright sunshine so thats after the long weekend unfortunately not the best timing and the clouds will increase on thursday and friday and were right about 80 degrees here for the rest of the week.
