Steve, good morning . Without telling any bad news, unfortunately not this thanksgiving. We start off with awful nice, just past midnight, the neighbors call 911, because their single man neighbor who lived in this house at 1929 bruner in a fire, and there was no way to save him. You can see, both with our live picture now, the devestation, and then in our video, the firefighters got here, and the house was all ready way on fire, where there was no way they could eat get n once they get the fire out, wondering is this an abandoned house, one nextdoor, or is anybody in there. And they find the body of this man in here. And they also find evidence that really, he did not have any head start to get out himself. Because there was no working Smoke Detector in here. We look around the dwelling, and found no smoke alarms on the first or second floor, what looked like old smoke alarm in the basement that wasnt operating. And the recommendation is to have smoke alarms on every floor, and have multiple smoke alarms on each floor, and this house just had one smoke alarm, probably, 20 to 30 years old, chris, and it was all the way down in the basement, and this man was found on the second on the first floor, bedroom up on the second floor. So we dont know if he woke up and made it down to the first floor, and then just couldnt get out the front window or if he fell asleep on the first floor, no idea what caused this as this fire marshall continues to investigate.
