Right now little too early for us to say any particular group is being targeted as result of people responding to back page ads, or as a result of these incidents. Again we dont know that for sure at this point in time. I think this person may be targeting trans gender people and possibly because again they feel like theyre dispensible. But they feel like they are an easy target. Lets get right out to steve keeley at Police Headquarters. You think you heard it all, steve . Reporter it was the price of the cheese steak that set him off. Anybody watching this right now with a grandmother is going to get re angry real quick. Philadelphians since new years angry over the higher prices of the soft drinks since the soda tax there is real tough guy, and i mean that sarcastically, beats up woman, grandmoms age, about 60 years old, did it because he wanted her cheese steak price rolled back to what it was and maybe the 80s, four bucks, instead of the relatively cheap six bucks she charged today. First he squirts his drink at her, through the holes, in a protective clear shield, then she forgets in a moment of anger why she has to work in her deli behind that thick clear protective shield. And goes out into the lobby of the store, to confront him and call him stupid to his face, and then she got punched in the face repeatedly in two rounds of beatdowns by this guy, who thinks beating up a smaller old lady 60 years old is just acceptable in society. Upset, he squeeze the juice bottle in front of the little hole at the store inside the window. Thats when start, i dont know why i go outside, i just went out. I never thought he is going to hit my face. Dont talk to him. I never fought with nobody. Reporter well, she said that he toll her call me stupid to my face again. Hopefully someone knows something. Steve, thank you. Time is 4 08. Just days until inch ago augusts, donald trump held fiery News Conference wednesday, fins since winning the election, taking on media outlet, specifically those who reported unsubstantiated information about russia having un, trump called the reports fake news, for the first time did he acknowledge russian hacked the dnc during the election. As far as hacking, i think it was russia. But i think we also get hacked by other countries, and other people. Now, trump also vowed to unveil proposals to repeal and then replace obamacare. They had several discussions about that. Of course by early next month he hopes to do. That will the president elect also explains he will turn over his Business Empire to his sons by placing it in a trust that they control. Meanwhile the president elect continues to fill out his cabinet. Yesterday he named david showken, and he spent some time right here in our area in philadelphia. He served as chief medical officer at upenn, also at Temple University hospital currently he is the under secretary of health with the obama administration. And secretary of state, nominee, Rex Tillerson grilled about his connections to russia during his confirmation hearings. The toughest line of questioning came from senator marco rubio. He laid into the long time head of exxon mobile for failing to take a tough stance against russian cyber attacks. He also pressed tillerson for his view on the kremlins role in the syrian war and attack some civilians by the russian military. There is of course cory booker, Jeff Sessions is the nominee. The alabama senators record on civil rights, lgbt equality and i am graduation makes sessions unfit for the job according to booker. Take a ride out of town on the schuylkill, behind the septa bus there past girard avenue. Roads are wet. Lets take live look downtown. Where 19 is your favorite number this morning. Ill explain why. Sue has the forecast when we come right back. And good morning, take a look at the scene right here, parts of california continue to be plagued by severe flooding. This all comes after several days of heavy rain. These images are out of hollis err, where officials have ordered mandatory evacuations. You can see y the record rainfall has also downed trees, cut power in many places there. Unfortunately, more rain is in the forecast. So what can we deal with here . Lets get over to sue. Recently we had rain in our weather. Now we have a lot of warm temperatures, sue . Right. There are still some showers moving through, not quite finished yesterday, mild temperatures in the forecast. These are the records to beat today. We wont be beating the philadelphia High Temperature record, which has been standing for, well, 127 years. 72 degrees back in 1890. Atlantic city, 1913 is the record of 63 degrees, so is wilmington, and allentown, and reading. These High Temperature records are all in the 60s. And thats where we expect to be today. So, yes, we do have just little more rain moving through our area. But as we look at the future cast, most of that will be out of here. It is all in advance after cold front, which will come through, later on in the day. So, tomorrow, will not be as mild as today. And then we look ahead to this situation for saturday. When we say situation, it is not necessarily good. In the morning, weve just got clouds. Then by noon, were starting to see even by 11 00 some snow move in from a system that will be coming by to our south. So the front that comes through tonight will stall to our south. But colder air will be in place by then. So we do expect this to largely be snow. Now, if youre down in cape may county, maybe southern delaware, you may see little bit of rain or freezing rain. But there is tricky travel in the forecast for saturday. It doesnt look like we will get a lot of accumulation, if we get any at all. But it could be very messy. Stay tuned for more on that. 52 degrees right now. Thats right. It is 52 degrees right now. Fortytwo in mount pocono, 52 in millville, off to mild start in lancaster, with 52. Well above the average already. The average high is 40 degrees. We got to 54 yesterday and as advertised we expect to be in the 60s today. Tomorrows high in the 40s. You see, it is chilly, in the 20s in the morning, on saturday, high of 34, which is why we expect probably mostly snow when that precipitation comes by. And then the rest of the holiday weekends, looks like it is a mix of sun and clouds, with seasonable temperatures in the fours, look at this, we zoom back to the 50s by the middle of next week. At least bob kelly, no more highs in the 20s. No reports of black ice this morning, thats good. I didnt know whether i should wear a coat or not. I wore my coat, i was hot actually driving in this morning on the schuylkill expressway. Good morning, everybody, 4 17. Hot and wet. Here is a live look, route 100 at 113. Everything is wet this morning. Good news, though, at least were starting off at 52. So we dont have any reports of black ice, but again, north and west, as sue showed us those temperatures, the wet roadways can be just as slippery as those icy roadways. So there is a live look for chester county. Live look at the benny, no problems at all coming up and over into downtown, off to a good start. Downtown we go, 19 your lucky number today because yesterday penndot opened up the 19th street overpass over the vine street expressway, first overpass completed with the whole vine st. Reconstruction project, something new you will notice today coming into downtown drizzle and fox closed at bondsville road. Water main break fowl being, just off route 202 here,. On the differ identifying line. Use route 202 that could be a mess down there. So far so good, out of the gate on the buses, trains, trolleys, and no report of any delays at the airport. Karen, thomas, back over to you. Looking good so far. Time 4 19. Four men wanted for stealing from atms in northeast philadelphia.
