Officers could not find him until around midnight when they saw him walking down the street. Were told Police Stopped him, talk with him and offered to drive him home. Police did a routine pat down when they felt his gun and pulled it and that is when the person pulled it out. Sergeant then dives at the man in the struggle to get the gun. Someone pulse out a gun everything happens so quickly and just such a scary situation obviously and the officer really took a risk, rather than stepping back and drawing his weapon by diving at him and fighting with him over the gun. It appears they believed children were trapped inside the home so they did their job. They headed inside to try to save those kid. That is when a floor collapsed burying men in ruble. Now this morning their bodies will be taken from the medical Examiners Office, to their respective Funeral Homes and we are expecting a procession of First Responders, and Fire Fighters from throughout the area, to line that route and escort bodies of these Fallen Heroes to honor them who made the ultimate sacrifice. And now fire officials hearsay they have been overwhelmed by the support that they are seeing from the community and this is outpouring of love, here is what they told us yesterday.
