This fire called in around 7 45 last night it was put out within an hour, however the mans body was not discovered until around midnight. Because fire Officials Say there was so much stuff in their way, so much stuff in that house. Skyfox was over the scene last night, when the fire broke out. It was on the 6600 block of Point Pleasant pike in plumbstead township. The fire was called in, with heavy smoke and fire, shooting out of the back of the home. Fire crews battled the blaze for about an hour, and later discovered the body of 58 year old man on the first floor of the home, the Point Pleasant company fire chief says there was a lot of debris inside this home t took a while to find and get to the victim. Took quite a bit of time to find them, the conditions, deteriorated rather quickly, we had collapse in the back. So about two hours ago probably midnight or so we found them. It is believed the 58 year old victim was the only person home at the time of the fire. It is unclear whether there were smoke detectors and why the man wasnt able to get out of the house at this point it is also unclear how the fire started. Mike al next. Now, going outside to steve keeley for the latest on this accident in northeast philadelphia. Steve whats going on . Bob, it is hard to say anything positive when youre at the scene of a fatal crash. A little progress, that flatbed tow truck driver, has a cable hook up to whats left of this four door hyundai. And this is the good looking side of it, and the only side that you can even make out that this was a car, and you can see, how much that trunk just and roofer just folded up when it went up and airborne. It bounced off this tree, the skidmarks fleeing across all three lanes went off the first tree where the truck driver is on the flatbed went airborne and the bark on the second tree that the car was was almost resting against 10 feet high. Horrific rearend of the accident. Only thing really left intact is that front seat area. Maybe this person didnt have a seatbelt on, or actually maybe could have survived.
