Reporter bruce, jan, how the plane crashed remains a mystery. Its still under investigation tonight. What is not a mystery is that he was beloved by his classmates, his community in rockville, and of course his young lives came to a crashing stop monday night when this small private plane they were on crashed just outside of cleveland. One of them was abe shevar of rockville. We ache for the parents of these young men. A blow like that is unbelievable. Reporter abe was a passenger on the rented cess nathat crashed only about 50 yards after takeoff at the airport. His life, at 18 years old, was just beginning to take off. He was so sweet. So sad that this happened. Reporter anna is abes step mother. He always had a smile on his face, offering help, how can i help you all the time. Reporter the other three passengers were abes school mates, including the 20yearold pilot who had his temporary license for a year and regular pilots license for a month. Abe and two of the other passengers were on the wrestling team which is set to begin practice in october. Theyre all hard working good students. Theyre respectful and a joy to coach. Reporter according to his social media, abe was excited about continuing his sports career at case western, a career he shared with his father who helped coach some of the teams. His father would go out with him to the field and practicing football the father will go to school, and make sure that he that he is doing great and the wrestling team. He was someone i kind of aspired to be like a little bit as he was a hard working loving guy. Reporter an example for some and a loss for all. Its a huge hole. Its a major loss to the community, to obviously his family, to the people who knew him. The National Transportation safety board says it will look at weather weight was an issue but said that the plane did have four seats for all passengers. Ntsb along with the federal Aviation Administration are in cleveland investigating the deadly crash bruce. Georgetown prep issued a statement about abes passing. He was a dedicated and enthusiastic student and key contributor on both the varsity football and wrestling teams. He was on the senior trip to pine ridge colorado last summer. The family asked for prayers for abe and his family. We have a sketch of a man wanted for three sexual assaults in the district. Hes described as a hispanic man, 26 to 32 years old last seen wearing this Chicago Bulls cap. The sexual assaults happened in the Pleasant Hills neighborhood. Dc police want to hear from anyone who can help identify the attacker. You could be eligible for a 1,000 reward. Police are boosting patrols in the area and urging women not to walk alone late at night. In falls church, police are searching for a man accused of exposing himself in front of a 14yearold girl. The girl said the man stopped asked for directions and exposed himself. Hes described as a man with a spanish accent. He was driving an older model red chrysler minivan. And tonight, neighbors in the montclair area of Prince Georges County can breathe a sigh of relief now that police have in custody two suspects wanted in connection with a shooting. He was captured earlier this afternoon and the female suspect turned herself in. They were connected to a shooting outside of a mcdonalds. Police suspect the shooting might have been a drug deal gone bad and believe the victim is going to be okay. Major investigation into what went wrong with marylands exchange of obama care. He believes there was fraud in the system that cost taxpayers millions of dollars. Heres a look at the subpoena. . Reporter marylands Health Exchange the connection to obama care here, never worked as easily as the ads it promised as launched. It crashed and was filled with technical problems. The exchange is now being revamped but congress man andy harris says theres a growing investigation into the millions of taxpayer dollars already spent on the website. He says the department of health and Human Services office of the Inspector General is issuing subpoenas for fraud. There were invoices literally for hundreds of dollars an hour for charges, with no reason for the invoices. Reporter its unclear who is being targeted in any investigation, whether the subpoenas are for government workers or contractors. The Health Exchange and costs are expected to cost more than 260 million and by the way, a Washington Post report shows the Company Fired by maryland officials after that disastrous launch of the states Health Exchange did in fact receive a federal request to turn over documents for this investigation. In fact, the chief executive for Meridian HealthCare Solutions said in a statement to the post, they were cooperating fully with the request by the Inspector Generals office for the Us Department of health and Human Services. You can use that Armored Vehicle to safely get people through an area where there might be aft sniper or shooter or Something Else going on, a barricade. Nightvision equipment has been used by Law Enforcement for years and years judge because of what happens in ferguson, missouri, president barack obama is now ordering a review of a federal Surplus Program that allows local Police Departments all over the country to purchase military equipment at an incredible discount from federal agencies. I think its good use of the taxpayers dollars, if theres surplus equipment that still has life in it, to share it from you know the military to local government. While i agree with the direction of many of the recommendations others i cannot support at this time unquote. Hes got a disease. He doesnt want to be like this. [singing] when we met lucas miller last december, the 24yearold was on an uphill path to recovery, trying to reject his constant craving for heroin. The second you wake up until the second you go to bed at night, thats all youre worried about. Reporter the man who promised to stay clean slipped back into the unrelenting clench of addiction. It came on slowly, but at some point it came on with a vengeance. Reporter earlier this month, lucas traveled to mexico and a controversial treatment thats gaining popularity among heroin addicts. The doctors are expected to prescribe medication based on Clinical Evidence and the Clinical Evidence simply isnt there.
